Arenas is funny, but he's a moron.
Sometimes he is funny but sometimes he just looks stupid... this is one of those times.

Gilbert is just pissed that he turns over the ball more than anyone else in the league.

Back on topic - I like Arenas (note to SJ - his name is not " Arena's " and it drives me nuts when you put the apostrophe!). Arenas is a lot like a regular joe, and I find his blog funny.

However, like a regular guy, he's way too caught up in numbers. He quotes his stats for why he should be an all-star, while you'd never hear Kobe or LeBron be like "well I'm getting 30/8/7 so I can't miss the all-star game" or whatever. You can't get caught up in your own numbers as if it's the reason you're so great. Superstars are supposed to be humble when it comes to that; Magic Johnson or Larry Bird or MJ would never talk about their numbers.

sure, but those guys were all stars, so they didn't get a chance to complain ...

Sorry for closing this thread briefly guys, but I wanted to remove the Kobe chatter into its own thread and allow this thread to get back on track.

OK I guess. Basically what I'm saying is Arenas should have some dignity when snubbed, and not act like his stats make him a guaranteed all-star.
