Cavs traded their first round draft pick last year. Isn't there a rule where you can trade your first rounder in consecutive years or something like that? If so Cavs couldn't deal the 2011 draft pick that some talked about.

Although if possible it would be great to target that somehow.

Great opportunity to realise how you people love Bargs. It's popular to hate the guy around here, but now it's really scary, ahh?

to be fair, even a hater of Bargnani has to realize you can't trade his talent level for an effort guy. AV is a guy that is nice to have, but costs too much to attain. Let's move on, at this point Cleveland is not giving him up for what other teams would consider fair value.

"Cavs big man Anderson Varejao has a cheek fracture, will be fitted for protective mask and is out for Chicago and Dallas games this weekend."
Yahoo.

LOL.

Varejao with a protective mask? Now you have to trade Bargnani for him. That's just too badass and too comical simultaneously to be able to turn down. Andrea can do nothing that could compete with that.

I would love such a trade. I could probably be called a Bargnani hater, but i really think the team is centered on Bargs too much. He stops the offense. He destroys his own team's defense. Team plays better without him.
Varejao is a total fighter. And you need people like him in this soft Raptors team.

Really? AB doesn't stop the offence enough in my opinion. Guy needs to demand more when he's feeling it, like he's been learning to do.

As far as Varejao, isn't Amir Johnson our AV? Why would we need yet another 6'9 PF on this team while moving our only playing 7' fromtcourt player?

If we wanted AV, it wouldn't be for Bargnani.... it would be for guards or picks, and that wouldn't likely form any plausible deal for either side.
