the age is starting to get to him.
he's going to begin to slow down slowly and slowly.
thats why we need to ship him while his value is ok.

I dunno...since the Spurs game, I think he has looked pretty good. I can't find any fault with his D, nobody really took him to school.

I notice often on D he can't keep up with his man. Too often a wide open shot comes from players whom AP was guarding.
Lost his quickness a bit, or perhaps motivation?

Dude, since the start of the season he has been horrible with his jump shots. In fact, only in the past few games he has made some good shots.

Yea, Parker's done.

Our wings were much better when Parker was out with injury.

Maybe him as a starter he should be done, but he's certainly an asset to have coming off the bench for us. Outside of the 2 games where Kapono shot out the lights, I don't necessarily think our wings have improved that much over Parker. JMO

Parkers been pretty much horrible all season.
age may be a factor, but he just doesnt seem to have that same quickness or confidence in his shot like in years past.
he's always been the most consistent raptor, but this year he's lost that title.

the funny thing is, this is his contract year; you'd think he would be playing his best ball ever.... but thats so far from the truth.

Parker starts slow every year and hasn't had to deal with an injury in past seasons.

Taking the odd horrible looking shot has always beeen part of his arsenal.

his legs aren't there.
so he's front rimming shots, side rimming flat ones (usually happens when the legs are ghone and there's too much arm in your shot), and he's fading 3-4 feet on his jumpers off screens because he can't quite beat his defenders to the spot.

great guy to have around, but not gonna do it as a starter on a top tier team... not at the 2 position anyway, your two has...HAS to be a stud.

I'd love to be able to keep him as a 6th man.

His starter days seem to be over ... but he's great off the bench defensively and can nail shot after shot if he's feeling it.

And yes i definitley think it's a split between age factor, the injury and him just tired?...

the man has been guarding the top players in the league night after night, year after year for us.

If it were only so easy, but the only way that trade might be feasible is via a fantasy pool. Warriors definitely don't do that unless they want to save a few bucks and I think Az's upside is worth alot more than an aging Anthony Parker.

PArker has been playing alright in the last couple of games. He has been hitting his 3's. Unlike during the start of this season he has been playing better

parker's always been a slow starter. was with us since we signed him. even was with tel aviv (according to maurizio--i didn't watch enough maccabi to say either way). that said, it does feel like he's lost a step and that may have started last year. he's still our best wing defender and maybe our smartest player. gotta hope he's still rounding into form.
