A Rod was sought after as a player, what's your point? We're not talking about his baseball salary. Where were all his national endorsements when he was in Seattle and Texas? He had one endorsement deal with Nike and that was it.
Would Eli have had any attention is the Giants hadn't won a superbowl and sucked instead?

Jeter is jeter. One of the game's best players and most marketable athletes. He wouldn't have a problem anywhere.

Bosh isn't going to get a ton of endorsements unless he goes to N.Y. and WINS.

This is all moot because I REALLY doubt that he wants to go to another losing situation just for the chance at ad dollars. He cares more about winning IMO. He'll go to MIA (if anywhere), win AND get paid.

You think Jeter would get the same attention if he played in Baltimore, Cleveland or Houston or anywhere else for that matter? A-Rod was the highest paid player in baseball and he had one endorsement deal until he went to New York. Even Johnny Damon increased his profile by going to New York.

And, what if Bosh thinks he can go to New York and win? What if at this point he cares more about branding himself?

I hope not, but only he knows.

Is he a business man or a basketball player?

I understand what you're saying.... but I really think that chances of that are VERY slim. Almost nil in fact. (him going to N.Y. and thinking that he has a chance to win there)

This is a fairly reasonable article when contrasted with some of the overtly gonzo shit that I've been exposed to regarding Bosh. Instead of attempting to pass off speculation as likelihood, it's just speculation being presented as speculation- when you exclude that 60% clip...

What's best was not signing Turk, not sining Triano, not drafting Bargs, not trading Vince. The Raptors management seem to always screw it up....
