Wake me up when the NBA season starts and he can average 7rpg.

LX 08-25-2011 07:36 PM

So he got 11 boards in almost 49 minutes, and the opposing C went off on him bigtime.

Here's to the lockout:cheers2:

Actually - I think I misunderstood that last set of numbers. What is that? And how many minutes did he play?

In 2OT it's not a stretch. And considering he coasts most of the time and barely breaks a sweat, he should be able to do 49min and still have energy to bang his new GF twice.

That's what I was thinking, and then remembered it's a 40 min game in regulation.

Bourousis has the body of Andrew Bynum. Andrea has no chance physically.
Bourousis is no picnic even for Marc Gasol, and Marc is a monster.

I'm very impressed with Bargnani here, although I didn't see the game.
What's even more impressive is that Italy won against Greece. I was starting to get nervous. Greece looked unbeatable till now.

Scully 08-25-2011 09:14 PM

Looks like Belli and Galo did the heavy lifting. 11 boards in 48 minutes that's got to be pretty close to his seasonal avg. so considering it's Euro talent he's up against that's not to hot. How many points in the paint did he get? I am guessing 75% of his 16 pts were elbow jumpers. Also was he matched up against Bourousis, because giving up 26 is also the opposite of hot.

Beans 08-25-2011 09:41 PM

Bourousis looked good. Stumbles looked like a newborn giraffe that had a 1/2 second slower reaction time than everybody else.

nope, is the minute when he was rejected.
i watched the game, he played well considering:
-he begun to train late because of the insurance;
-it's not easy being the best defender in the team (lol, it's really like that)
-bein aggressive and at the same time don't hurt himself.

Some one said that he didn't play well... when you're not in love anymore with your wife, even if she's J-Lo or Megan fox, she's be irritating.

here's the highlights

Speaking of cardio, he didn't seem tired in overtime. Two huge threes by Belinelli in OT were result of screens set by Bargs. One was clearly illegal, knocked the guy down big time :P

OP13 08-26-2011 06:51 AM

Too bad Sofo wasnt playing.. But Borousis did his job against Andrea too. :)

bourousis scored most of his points in the 10minutes marco cusin was on the floor guarding him and also did score maybe twice on isolation plays against andrea the other points came on screenn pop-outs or pick and roll situation where italy as a team did not play great defense andrea as an individual played one of his better defensive games.. he also did a pretty good job on bourusis in OT forcing him to shoot tough fall-away shots.
