When being asked about getting criticized for being "soft"...

"You have to start worrying when nobody criticizes you."

What a great interview. The dropoff from Bosh to Bargs will be non existent if he plays at the 4. It would make my season if Mago dunks on Bosh. A huge block would be sweet too.

I dunno Jackson, I was pretty motivated when I played sports, you wouldn't know it to look at me though, or by what I said.

Bargs is a very grounded guy. He's just not that good yet.

But I dunno, I guess if he were working out in the US where everyone could see him and that got press we'd all feel better, because frankly, I have no idea what this guy does when he leaves.

I think he will accept the burden of being the best player on the team and excel.

Didn't he average 6.2 this year?

I can't possibly understand why people don't think he could get at least 8 this year.

A 1.8 jump...without the 11.3 boards that Bosh was mandated to grab every night.

I'm saying this guy goes 23/8 this year.

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised at all if he shocked everyone and grabbed 9.

The guy will still camp out at the 3pt line. Can't rebound from there. His defensive rebounding isn't an issue it's offensive boards and since he doesn't play around the rim nearly enough it'll be up to Amir/Davis to grab 10-12rpg, which imo is very doable.

Is the All-Star Game a goal for you this season? And do you think that would be a realistic goal?

AB: I think the All-Star Game is a goal and a dream for all the players in the world. You practice, you try to get better every year… You can’t do nothing more than that.

His ball sense is shit. He doesn't have a good knack for knowing where the ball will go. This is something that comes from practice and playing around the rim. The latter he hates doing.

I would be really surprised if Bargnani did not average at least 7 rebounds this year. He is still showing steady improvement, with a career high in rebounds and double-doubles last year. Without Bosh, I think one more rebound per game is very doable for him.

I think Bargnani will be a focal point on the offense this year and I'm really interested to see how he responds. He has all the tools to create his own offense but he showed some difficulty doing so with regularity last year.

What really matters to me is his defense. He showed improvement defending on the ball, but his off-ball defense is honestly still abysmal. He doesn't have a very good feeling for spacing, rotations, weak-side help, or the pick and roll. If this team has any hope of competing this year, that is where Bargnani must improve the most.

He'll get at least 7 boards this year. He knows he's going to have to play a bigger role this year. He's got talent.

disagree...

bosh averaged 2.9 offensive rebounds...

bargs averaged less than 5 defensive rebounds last year...if he can grab half of the rebounds that Bosh got on the defensive end(bosh got 8 def rbs), Bargs can easily average 8-10 rebounds a game...

I just don't know what to expect from Bargnani. He really didn't see double-teams last year. If he becomes the focal point of the offense, I'm not sure whether he'll be able to excel. I hope he does, but I get the feeling that he'll crumble under the pressure.

Hopefully DeRozan surprises as well and takes some heat off of Bargnani... who knows, maybe BC does turn Calderon, Banks, Evans, and exceptions into something worthwhile. The start of the season is still many months away.

I disagree lol even though you are from a kick ass city.......Rebounding is about desire and hard work.............until Andrea decides to put his va jay jay away and grow a set and bang he wont come close to double digit rebounds
