Default Andrea Bargnani's trading value?

Just hypothetically speaking. Not saying we should or should not trade him but if we WERE to shop him, what do you think, realistically speaking, be the asking price?

What would you want?

His value is that of a player like Marc Gasol. Many just don't realize the superior talent surrounding Gasol in relation to the talent-less Raptors.

He is in Toronto.

Trade value = monumentally less than it would be if he was in any of the other top markets in North America.

You'd never get a Gasol type of player for Bargnani unless you throw in a high pick imo.

MArc Gasol is a stiff.

Bargnani makes him look like a Monkey when they play.

I think Marc Gasol has more respect than Bargnani around the league.

From alot of NBA writers, Bargnani is their punch line for bad defense and rebounding. Even the Golden State warrior's bench were laughing at Bargnani this year.

However, it takes only one team to really like Bargnani. If Gilbert Arenas and Zach Randolph can get traded, Bargnani can get traded. The main obstacle is that BC and Gherardini puts Bargnani on pedestal making it impossible to trade him if they want equal value in return.

Alot of teams would want Andrea Bargnani, so his trade value would be high. Obviously they wouldn't want him as the franchise player, but he'd be a good puzzle piece in alot of teams.

If we don't get Irving I bet we could bait the Warriors owners into trading Stephen Curry since they said Ellis isn't going anywhere. IDK if MLSE would do it though.

And Marc Gasol isn't going anywhere they have said resigning him is there #1 priority this season.

A useful prospect, 1 or 2 role players and a late 1st round pick.

Think more along the lines of Bargnani dropping the Italpasta and picking up some Florida oranges.

If Dwight is the guy we need to make Bargnani good, then we need to get rid of Bargnani
