Even if Raptors chances to make the playoffs are more theoretical, still there are things you can follow on Raptors game. And for sure, Andrea's development is one of the most important, he was the number one pick after all.
Against the Knicks on Sunday, 22 Feb. , Andrea had 28 points (highest for Raptors players) on 8-15 shooting and 3-5 from behind the arc. Also he had 3 assists, 3 blocks, 1 steal and 10 rebounds. But what impress me the most is that he went to FT line 12 times out of a total of 19 times for all Raptors players. Also, he made huge plays in the last 2 minutes of the game, hitting a 3, making a block and drawing a foul to make 2 FT, basically closing the game.

Good job Andrea, I hope he keeps improving his game and next year, Raptors will have a better chance to compete.

Today was the kind of game Andrea should be playing. Albeit he was behind the arc a couple times today, he did play the post more often and took it hard to the hoop when given the chance. Something that he didn't do during the last 2 games. So I'm hoping Triano said something to him, because today was a much better effort from Bargnani than what we saw earlier this week.

He still has so much room to improve. Imagine if he actually had a few go to post moves.
His potential is greater than Bosh and he showed last summer that he's willing to put the work in. If he does he has every chance to be a star in the league. I still think he's better off at the 4 though. If he was paired with a centre to bang and rebound he could focus more on scoring.

Bargs seems a lot more comfortable with his pump fakes than last year and perhaps even a few months ago. I remember his pump fakes were soooooo awkward and when he drove to the basket he would just stare at the ground.

+1.his development at the 5 has been a bright spot on a horrid season.he's mixing up his game inside and out, slashing, playing good d and swatting shots....were set at the 5 for years.

He doesn't dunk all the time, but he's certainly dunked numerous times. They aren't windmills or anything, but he dunks it.

Bargs development is the reason why i still watch my team. Really happy i was proved wrong by my cousin. He said Bargs will be an all-star.

I think if we bring in Messina, he will teach Bargs how to play the instead game. And Bargs will be shaped into an awesome player.

yup. ball-handling and putting more muscular physique in the offseason is where he should start. but i agree with everyone; he's definitely upped his game from last year. =) i hope he makes further development than just "the next Nowitzki".

Bargnani was productive today but he still has a long way to go.

At times he still looks lost, shoots too early and messes up on the defense.

The funny thing is that he had stretches today where he looked pretty bad and was wasting possessions. He was getting killed by Harrington and making mental mistakes. But he showed some of that determination that they need right now.

He came into camp friggin stacked this year, so that shouldn't be an issue.
He should start with the low post game and passing out of the double team because once he establishes that he can get his inside, teams are going send another defender. Adding that dimension to his game will open up alot more for the shooters on the team.
