OK, who here is still a fan of Bargnani, who is ready to give up on him, and who here is still unsure and on the fence about his future in Toronto?

On the fence. He's shown he has potential and will work hard to get better. Hes great offensively, defense is okay but could be better. Rebounds is what he should focous on in the off-season. If he doesn't get better in the off-season or atleast show th ework ethic needed to improve, I will give up on him. But he could a low post pressence. Someday maybe...

This guy is a solid role player right now, the second option on a team with Bosh, and his numbers have been increasing steadily every season. His blocks, FT%, points, and rebounds are up. TOs are down, PFs are down, what's not to like?

Could you add a section to the poll "Never was a fan"

Not to be so harash on Bargnani, but I never saw him being a fit in the Toronto Raptors organization since we had Bosh. His up side is huge, has amazing potential but that will never be reached in the Raptors organization. Main reasoning being our player development.

As an organization in business for 15 years I have not seen many player develop within the organization, but externally. Bosh ( Team USA), Vince (college & summer leagues). Those are the only two players that developed from scratched within our organization however most of their development occurred from external sources.

The real question is how much is he worth now? What can we get for Bargnani?

Hes good, and is not overpaid since he will improve. But he needs a true center so he can play PF. Bascially he needs a C thats completly opposite to him, like a Bynum or somethin'

Andrew Bynum LAL PAC C 65 94 1.4
Andrea Bargnani TOR ATL C 65 89 1.4

those 5 blocks more would change our team

Shaq is 38 and should retire. His fat ass can go make a rap album, and be a part time cop eating ho-ho's and balloon to 500lbs.

I can't wait to see what Shaq looks like 5yrs after he retires. You think Barkely got fat, you ain't seen nothing yet. lol

I said it before the season started, our success would be predicated on Bargs/Bosh help defence and how they utilize their length and athleticism. Both of them have not been good for the majority of the year, but unlike Bargs, Bosh makes up for it with his rebounding. Bargs inability to secure rebounds is a killer for us. He provides no lane intimidation. And thats what we need.

I said I'd give Bargs a bit more time after he had that nice run early in the year, but hes gone back to lazy complacent Bargs and we cant have that.

Brendan Haywood would have been a perfect fit beside Bosh. Or any center like him, like the poster above stated, that can block up the middle, provide good help defence, and rebound the fucking ball.

You just cant have your center pulling down less than 5 boards 3 of every 5 games. Even Okur avgs 8 boards a game.

and the sad thing is he is 7ft and taller than many other centers but still cant reb.
