Thumbs up Amir's offense seems to be coming around

Amir is playing some good ball lately, making some new moves, dropping a few open jump shots, a few baby hooks, a few nice passes. things we didnt really see before, and its good to see.

BC turned ukic and delfino into amir and weems

Amirs been awesome all year. Sheed and McDyess really taught the guy how to play well in DET, and now that hes getting consistant minutes hes really doing his thing. Hes not missing shots around the rim, but more importantly, his help defence is BY FAR the best o nthe team.

Amir/Weems>>>>>>>>> Ukic/Delfino

Beli>>>>>>>>>George

Evans>>>>>>>>>Kapono (This one will pay dividens later this season imo)

Colangelo won every one of these deals easily.

This is the last year of amir's contract... I sure hope they make it a massive priority to keep him in town, one of my favorite players of the team...

I know... watching them play makes me wonder how inept Milwaukee's GM really is. I mean, with Jennings I can understand why Weems wouldn't be needed. But I think almost every team could use what Amir brings...

I still don't know how this trade happened. BC actually does prove his worth, ppl just ignore it.

Nice job.

his little baby hook is scary. It kind of reminds me of kevin willis' penguin flipper hooks, except i don't think we'd ever (thank god) see amir attempt a jumphook from twenty feet out.
anyway, both are beautiful much like a straight line is.

Good call on BC proving his worth on this decision. This is an example of how he is capable of making solid decisions that don't relate to his supposed prefered style of play. Like Garbo, picking up Amir was just a really solid basketball decision (for more than one reason) and BC didn't let any philosophy get in the way of making it.

Take a look at the Bucks roster before you say that. They have so many big men. Maybe the bulk of them is old but they still have them. My bet is he wanted Delfino.

Also, Amir was never really a Bucks player. Just a chip they traded on.

On-topic: I agree he's playing great. Although I'm not rooting for him to take more of those jumpers.

Amir has been a good addition to our club. It's not only the defense, but he consistently makes the close in shots around the basket ... he looks awkward at times, but gets the job done.

Amir is the only one this entire season who has stood out on the defensive end, bringing it every night.

Really hope we can keep him after this season.

+1

The only issue is that it'll probably take at least 4Mil/yr.

amir's what?
wasn't aware he has an offensive game to being with
he's great on D (not that good on post D though), but he has no offense. Luckily, he's great on the boards, and either gets some putbacks, or new possesions, so he has an impact on offense, but not by scoring the ball
