I noticed our bigs shoot exceptionally well and, well, practically all of our wing players have horrible FG percentages... A bit frustrating really...

I like Amir, he is a great player and good fit.
It's ridiculous how people here wanted to amnesty him, because they said he wasn't worth his contract. I always thought it was stupid.

Johnson had 12 offensive rebounds and itís the first time since 1995 and only the eighth time in NBA history that someoneís put up those offensive rebounding numbers while coming off the bench.

First time in team history.

Only other one done this season league wide is Andy Varejao in October.

not so sure about that, he came into the league with amazing athletic abilities, but his career was held back by lack of development and inability to avoid fouls. If anything, he's been an underachiever for his first 7 seasons in the league. Still, better late than never, he still has lots of room to grow before he starts losing his athletic abilities.

I wonder how big of a pay he's going to warrant when his contract runs out. I could see teams offering 10 million and not batting an eye lash. maybe even 12-14

+1 I have always thought this same thing. 5-6 million a year for a guy that plays the way he does is well below the 7-9 million other players like him make. I always thought it was so stupid that since post lockout, so many people on here wanted t amnesty his contract....one signing BC did right

Him and Lowry are our best players. Not surprisingly, both of them know how to contribute without scoring. Also, they both are the only players on the team to sport above league average win shares/48 minutes. They also always play injured. Kudos to them both.

Pretty much, Ive always like amir and didnt mind to have either Ed or Amir get traded. But now Ed's gone he doesnt have to share those minutes anymore. He's like 10x the player we all wanted JYD to be

I think Amir would gladly take the same contract he has now to stay in the T.Dot OHHHHHHH. He seems to genuinely love it here. He's a core piece to this franchise as well.

If amir gets to start for a whole season and produce like he did this year, he can easily make 10-12 mill a year.
Good bigman dont come cheap.
He avgs close to a double double as a starter, with couple assists and blocks to boot - while having zero plays run for him.

Only problem is he's among top in the league in fouls, speaks more to the rest of the team though. As he's practically our only legit seasoned big man and last line of defense.
