Keep him

Amir, Davis(for sure), Bagnani. Casey coaching. Let the two best players win their spot for this year and the future under Casey.

agreed
i'm almost certain that amir and davis will prove to be better defenders than bargs, which is what casey is demanding most, so there's still a good chance Bargs is out in the end
and if the 2 of them can develop even a half decent offensive repertoire and demar can consistently shoulder the offense every night, then i don't see why Bargs cannot be traded, especially when he might net us a good PG

I think Amir is great, but if the right opportunity comes along, it would be unwise not to make a deal considering the gridlock we have at the 4/5 positions (if we get a FA big man).

The same applies to Bargs - we should keep him for offense, but if a good deal comes along, he should be dealt. Unlike ED, neither are untouchable in my book.

I know this may not be irrelevant to some but Amir does so many good things off the court to spread the word and he's like the older brother of the "young ones/guns". In my books that counts for something.

only if the right deal comes along

really the only "untouchables" to me are demar and ed davis, i would need super trades to come along for these guys to be traded

At this point, I'd probably add Val to that list as well.

Loves T-dot, loves the game. And he looks like he is having fun out there. Unlke certain lurches that look lost.
I say keep him.

Seeing Amir go would be sad, dude is a warrior and does lots of things for the fans and really embraced TO. Although he does seem like the odd man out in the future when Ed is ready.

Keep him, I feel Ed Davis will be the one to be traded and not Amir.
From all bigs; Bargs, Amir, Ed and Jonas Davis has the biggest upside, but I remember the dude wasn't happy abt being drafted by the Raps, I won't be surprised if we fetch a good trade for him.

+1

and about ed, i temm that to everyone since his draft-night. and for sure is value, and easyness to trade him than barg, is far far away.
so trade davis and barg, and bring a 3rd young big men, and a FA center, and we will be full.

a tool in regard to the fact that he doesnt seem liek he wants to be here what so ever. I dont know if it sjust his personality. liek the quite type who doesnt say much. but amir is constantly doing stuff in the city and all and wants to and shows that he wants to be a part of this team and a part of the community. Personally i think hes still better than ed davis. maybe not fo rthat long as davis potential is supposed ot be really high. but if we get somethign good for ed i wouldnt mind the trade at all. I would be more willing to part with ed than with amir. The thing is we are over loaded at the PF position espcially with Bargs coming in it also. If Bargs craps out well he will probably be traded. if he doesnt and somehow gets his at togeather we have a log jam. The only way i see that working is if ed takes minutes at C also. but if one of em have to go. I would say Ed, but that is also kinda a biased opinion cuz i love amirs game and hustle. he is also very efficent with his FG percentage

i agree ed is quiet and maybe seems like he's not a deep thinker, but he clearly showed with his play that he wants to be here.

Now, with amir, assessing his play and contract is definitely relevant but another reason for keeping him? we all love him!
