It's amazing, when this deal went down we were over the moon that Ross stayed here. lol

He's a rookie not playing many minutes in the last 3-4 weeks. Can we not jump ship just yet people.........step away from the ledge.

Hindsight is 20/20...but damn.

Lowry/Telfair
DeRozan/Fields
Gay/Anderson
Davis/Johnson
JV/Johnson

Would've been so much better short and long term.

While Ed could definitely turn out to be the better player, Ross, or what he has the potential to be, is a better fit. We really lack an above average perimeter defender AND a reliable shooter. Ross can potentially address both those needs. Although Ross has some talented guys ahead of him in the rotation he's less redundant when you compare his skillset to Demar/Gay, in contrast to Ed and Amir/Val/Acy.

However, I am crestfallen that he has tried to gain more minutes by jacking jumpers rather than locking down his man, which he's capable of. He's offered little resistance in that regard, lately.

Ding ding ding. I think that was one of my top 5 pissed off and amazed at how stupid the Raptors are moments, slightly behind signing Landry Fields and Turkoglu to those contracts, keeping BC around this long, and Casey starting Bargnani over JV/Amir, defying all logic in the process.

If I had to bet who will be the better players four years from now, I'd take ross over ed even if the odds were 2 to 1. Much higher ceiling for ross imo.

I am not "we". That's my way of saying told you so.

Seriously though, agree with 2nd sentence the most.
