Am I the only one who thinks that AP will back out of whatever agreement he has with clevland due to the fact that Raptors now have the MLE?

i hope so, with him and delfino. We won't need to get another back up point guard. Can spend out whole MLE on one talented player

I don't know, but if your AP would you want to give up your best chance to win an NBA championship especially when you only have another couple years in you? I love loyalty and would love to see AP back, but the deal is actually on the table with the Cavs I see Parker taking it.

Yes.

The MLE has nothing to do with signing Parker. He was never renounced so they can just re-sign him.

I don't think he will be re-signed if Cleveland gives him a good offer btw.
DeRozan and Wright are two decent options (DD hopefully with major upside) and possibly Delfino is resigned as well, or somebody else using the MLE.

AP is one of the most solid role players I've seen in a while and I think he will accept a bench role and be able to come off the bench and provide leadership off the bench...he loves toronto..that's why I'm happy he hasn't signed the clevland deal due to the fact that I think BC will call him and offer him a deal...I wouldn't be surprised if he's calling him right now!

No, not if he wants a ring. If he's gonna come off the bench why not make it mean something?

Imagine having two guys in one summer renege on verbal agreements to sign with other teams only to screw them over and come to the Raps .

Lol.... if that ever happened this franchise will have finally "arrived".

If Bosh re-signs I'm thinking of the parallels between us and SAC about 10 years ago when Webber went there.

Hopefully we can match that success.

I heard on SportsNet that this is a done deal pretty much but I woulda loved to see him come back especially since we got our MLE back and don't have to renounce him
