Default For all you PG comparison twits.

Bizarro Jameer? Or just an obvious interchangable position on a team with 4 all stars

I ain't gonna say much more than this, for a lot of team, Boston, Orlando etc. A traine dMonkey could run the point. Period. Having Allstars surrounding you makes it pretty easy to manuever for a PG at this level.

JAmeer would look like Mike James here, and ROndo... I don't even know.

Anthony Johnson has been one of the best backups all year long. The guy has been playing some serious ball on both ends of the court. Everybody on that team benefits from being on a good team. 1-12. I knew AJ was going to perform well with Jameer out, because I woke up this morning or something.

So yeah, Jameer benefits from being on a good team...but what player on a good team doesn't? When it's all said and done, do you think Orlando would have a better shot with Anthony Johson over Jameer?

Then you are enlightened.

I think Jameer is a great player.

I just don't like the way Jose is compared to guards in infinitely better situations.

Anyone see CHI blast NOH last night when they were missing Chris Paul?

Uh... yeah. How many games do you think they're going to win now without him?

Jose could make this team look like a good situation if he played a certain way. But then of course he is not 100 percent.

Jose will be owning it up if he had Garbo on his team. It was supposed to be garbo/calderon combo for the raps. Running them playz in espanol.

This is practically like the PF comparison. West, and Boozer would'nt look good here either but Bosh in any one of there situations would look like a MVP

i beg to differ Gurk,
i think Boozer would be a damn good player here. but only if he were healthy.
West is overrated IMO, but guess what? so is bosh.

As for the initial premise - look at what that team did with Arroyos last season. Or even Jameer last year without the shot he has now. Not so cut and dry. TJ carved up the entire team when Arroyos was on the floor. Twerp.

Nelson is a very good player, but don't discount Stan Van Gundy's coaching.
Clearly if Anthony Johnson can pick up right where Jameer left off then SVG is putting his players into position to be successful. When the sets work the pieces are often interchangeable.
Having Rashard, Hedo and Dwight is huge though (literally).

johnson had one good game, when nelson got injured last fall, johnson was very modest in his contribution. DOn't forget how well Solomon looked in the first game without Jose (against Miami, he had 12 assists or smth like that). Let Johnson play 2-3 more games, and then judge him,

Nelson was a pretty bad player last year, but this season he's playing a lot better. He's mostly shooting a lot better. Then again, I've only seen nelson in 4-5 games this season, if you look at Jose's numbers, they're right there with Nelson. One would think that in their system, Jose could be even better than nelson.
