Default All-Star reserves leaked - official announcement pg2 - this good enough bjjs?

My picks:

Rondo
Rose
Johnson
Pierce
Wallace
Smith
Bosh

Paul
Deron
Roy
Durant
Randolph
Nowitzki
Gasol

Much harder choosing the West vs the East. Smith only made my vote because I couldnt find anyone else. Gasol vs Kaman is tough too.

almost the same as you thriller but I'll substitute SJax for Pierce, might knock off Smith for PP and Kaman for Gasol

21 PPG, 5 RPG, 3.5 APG, 42%, 31% 3 PT, 3.2 TO, 17.9 SHOTS PER GAME
VS
18.9 PPG, 5 RPG, 3.6 APG, 47%, 47% 3PT, 2.4 TO, 12.4 SHOTS PER GAME

I really dont see how you can have SJax in there over PP based on nothing but hate.

Theyve announced the reserves, with my picks being correct except them choosing Smith over Horford, which to me is very surprising .

Apparently these are the guys.

Quote:
Point guards Deron Williams(notes) of Utah, Chicago's Derrick Rose(notes) and Boston's Rajon Rondo(notes) will make their All-Star Game debuts next month in Dallas, sources said Thursday.

Williams, Rondo and Rose top the list of reserves chosen by the league's coaches to participate in the Feb. 14 game at Cowboys Stadium. The names won't be made official until Thursday night, but Yahoo! Sports has obtained the list of reserves.

Besides Rondo and Rose, the East roster includes Boston's Paul Pierce(notes), Toronto's Chris Bosh(notes), Charlotte's Gerald Wallace(notes) and Atlanta's Joe Johnson(notes) and Al Horford(notes).

The West reserves are the New Orleans' Chris Paul(notes), the Lakers' Pau Gasol(notes), Oklahoma City's Kevin Durant(notes), Dallas' Dirk Nowitzki(notes), Memphis' Zach Randolph(notes) and Portland's Brandon Roy(notes).

Among the notable candidates left off the team are the Los Angeles Clippers' Chris Kaman(notes), New York's David Lee(notes) and Denver's Chauncey Billups(notes).

I suggested SJax because of Charlotte's improvement since he's been on the team and they have similar stats

SJax should be in there instead of Gerald Wallace. Jackson is the guy who has big games against big teams and makes the big shot when called upon.

Horford over Lee? Highly debatable.

i'd take josh smith over both of them. especially for an all-star game. he's a monster and hugely fun to watch.

I would have voted for Noah kind of for the same reason. Just a different kind of player but I expected Lee because of his statline.

btw next year Bargnani is gonna take that center spot

(especially if Bosh leaves, then he'll get more boards and shots and will be considered more prominent, perhaps the 'franchise' blub.. but I didn't mean it that way. He's just gonna improve a lil more, impose some more of his lockdown D and score a little more across the board )

I do like to watch him. But mainly because of his defense and energy, not really typical All Star-traits, All star game that is.

well that's my point. in the all-star game you want to see exciting guys, high-flyers, huge shots, dynamic passes. that's why i like josh smith.

an over-excited energy guy that plays good d and looks goofy is not an all-star game kind of guy.
