Fields was awful. But...

Fifth option on the floor as a starter on a brand new team, so it's going to take some time for his offensive game to come around. Let's wait at least 15 games to make a fair assessment of him.

Besides, that contract was only to cock block Nash to the Knicks was it not? It's an overpayment any way we look at it.

I heard Landry fields was a glue guy - a guy you fucking glue to the bench is the second part that people leave out.

Anderson came in and played great defense, but he didn't make any shots. We need a shot maker at the 3, because its not like we have one at the 2. With how poorly fields played, I don't know why Kleiza didn't get even a short look. Dude lit it up this summer.

I can't believe how much money we have locked up in one dimensional, mediocre wing players. It's depressing...

I think the only hype on fields is that he played in NY.. the dude can't shoot, maan.. imagine having a young Mo Pete in this lineup. way better, can shoot.. can finish, has good defense
to bad James Johnson didn't get along well with casey

The problem is, Fields is a SG.
- better defender. not by much.
- better rebounder. not by much.
- better shooter from deep. HELL NO. both suck, but at least demar shoots it with confidence.
- better passer. sure? not by much.
- BUT who's the better scorer. Which is what we need out of our SG. Demar has a HUGE edge on Fields. He gets to the line and puts pressure on the defence. Fields runs around like a panzy.

Carlos Delfino would've been a good pick-up here for much less $.
Landry is terrible. Can't shoot and his D did not look good at all. AA is our best SF lol. And at least Kleiza can hit a shot.

I wanna support him, but I kind of saw this coming. He doesn't do anything really well. It is sad to see Alan Anderson making the vet minimum or whatever come in and play better.

Anyone that could score two baskets at SF would have helped.

i wouldn't rather see sonny weems, at least fields' bball IQ tells him not to shoot the ball randomly, at least fields knows he shouldn't shoot and doesn't over dribble

Fields is going to be a solid contributor for this team, give him some time to find his groove.. if he can even just get back to the form he had in his rookie year he'll be more than worth his contract.

Kleiza not playing at all hurts us badly, he is a good player and would contribute more than Fields on both ends of the court. His Defense and reboundng ok, he can play post offense and shoot 3's.

His post game often turns into a turnover or offensive foul

LF will start playing well we just have to wait..? wait for what Christmas? Dude sucks, he has to deserve playing time. Give some burn to those who can actually be useful. I just hope Casey doesn't feel like he has to play Fields just because we are paying him so much. Because right now i would rather see him earning his $ on the bench.

i think fields will be playing very solid D and attacking the rim, scoring lay-ups within the next few games.

when will he start hitting shots, esp open ones? a lot harder to predict but he has shown he can do it consistently in the past, so i'm still expecting it to come at some point this season.
