I'll admit I worded that poorly. Not Bargs personally but consider what was the main problem with Mitchell. Who wasn't he playing?

Still disagree.... Mitchell wasn't a great coach, but he was better with some players.

So, BC wasn't angry at all or motivated by the fact that his #1 pick wasn't getting major minutes.

After examining the Landry Fields experiment,I've decided to put it into perspective.

As the 3rd highest paid player on the team,Fields has scored just 10 points from the field on 24 shot attempts in over 100 minutes of action through 5 games this season............................................ .................................................. ...................

Here is as good a place as any - Lucas is a ball-hog; he needs to be in street clothes.

To me is a big mistake to bury Fields on the bench right now. The guy has totally lost his confidence and looks like he's playing scared of doing more mistakes and so he does.

Let him play with the second unit and find back his game or we could lose him for the rest of this year, which is very unuseful and we'd never be able to trade him even for a 2nd runder.

It also happened in 07-08 but it was only 0.2 net points and he played a lot less back then).
Well, DD has also only ever had a single season of positive impact - last year just like Bargs. So that really doesn't separate them a whole lot. And, yes DD has had less years, but he's also not had a break even year like Bargs did in his second year - he was significantly negative in both years prior to last.

We can get 2nd rounder for Fields? That would be a dream come true
At this point i just want to get rid of his contract

I don't understand how someone can cheer against this guy. He is probably one of the nicest dudes on the team, and ya'll are hoping he falls flat on his face.

At the very least, you'd think you guys would want him to play well to raise his trade value, not glue him to the bench.

agreed... though I'd suggest the only way he's going to raise his value is by being sent to the bench and becoming a less central piece. I just don't think he's talented enough to play a substantial role.

On the contrary - dude is already on his face and everybody is hoping he gets up off his face to actually contribute something of value to this team. I haven't seen anyone cheering against him, not here at least. Those fuckers over at realgm can get pretty masochistic, though...

Completely agree. I would never boo him at the ACC. I'll try my hardest to cheer the guy on only b/c he's apart of the team.

None of us want him to fail. That doesn't make sense. We all want him to succeed for the benefit of the club, but lets be real here...We all know he lacks the talent/skill to be on this team, let alone start.

You want him to succeed, so you put him down by calling him trash?

Fair enough.
