![]() You couldn't have named 4 names that are worse examples my friend, other than maybe Boozer. Dirk is considered a perimeter big. As is Bosh. Hell, you could even include Amare as a perimeter big. Yes, they all get a few more rebounds a game than Bargnani, but if you have been watching Bargs over the years, you will have noticed that the reason his rebounding numbers are low is because he boxes out his man 90% of the time before he tries to rebound. That means that Bosh (or this year, Reggie) can swoop in their and grab that board. |

![]() Get a real center... someone who is foremost defended minded (Dampier, Marc Gasol, Kaman, etc.) and move Bargnani to his natural PF position.
Have him score and don't expect him to be much of a defensive presence. That's just not part of his game. Be content with the 18 pts per game and let others be the defensive specialists. |

I am the youngest member of this board, yet I am part of a select few that still have some sanity when it comes to Andrea's situation. |

![]() Why? Players have roles. Bargnani can be a scorer. Others can pick up on his weaknesses. Like Evans compliments Bargnani's allergy to rebounding, Bargnani compliments Evans' inability to score the ball.
Of course Bargnani can't be a total failure and should put an effort on defense. We just have to accept him for what he is... a below average rebounder as a C/PF. |

How do you compliment an allergy to rebounding or a inability to score the basketball? That's like complimenting a runny nose with a fancy hat. Last edited by bjjs; 11-17-2010 at 12:10 AM. |
