He's a team killer when he isn't given what he wants. If Toronto signed him and they let him start then he would be getting what he wants and as such would not be a problem in that regard. I would be more concerned about how he would affect the flow of the game on offense.

i dont give a shit what people think about AI right now but he would be perfect for this team, he is the tough, 4th quarter excutioner, swagger point gaurd we need please BC MAKE IT HAPPEN HE IS CHEAP AS FUCK AND ACC CROWD WILL LOVE THIS BRING HIM HERE!!!

were all offence right now so we might as well add even more if it comes cheap and a super star quality player available! if were going down in games then we will go down scoring

all we can offer ai is the vets minimum unless another team agrees to a s&t. he would be making less than rasho. you think he'll sign up for that? in toronto? for a team that might not make the playoffs?

sign the little ballhog for a mil, nothing to lose. If the teams starts getting intimidated by a 160 pound man with tons of tatt's(which they probably will) then just waive him. Give him just another send off to retirement

bosh would be the best big the little ass canswer had played with

The thing is... he actually has a lot more HEART than anyone else on this team right now.

If we'd have kept Marion I would have been open to this.

A LOT of teams are making a mistake by passing him up. He can still play and if you can get him cheap I don't see how you don't take that chance.
that's bs, iverson is the opposite of BC's type- no character and no team game. Colangelo has signed a ton of defense first guys here (Parker, Garbajosa, Fred Jones, John Salmons, Moon, JO, Evans, Amir).

In fact, most of the players he signed were better on D compared to their O.
The only defensive challenged players we ever signed were kapono and hedu, as Bosh can Calderon were here before colangelo. Bargnani was drafted as a project, so he doesn't counts.

The irony here is that iverson fits better the kind of players you like (selfish scorers), this week alone you dreamed of jamison, magette and now iverson

At this point, Philly would much rather have Iverson than sign him and trade him to the Raps. The Sixers want him not only to fill a roster spot, but also to help fill seats, since their attendance is dwindling. The Sixers are losing this year primarily because of poor defense. Jose or Jack won't help that much. Plus, why help the Raptors by allowing them to get Iverson? The sign and trade really doesn't make much sense. Philly will probably just sign Iverson and use him as a combo guard. They'll start him ahead of Holliday, but he'll play the 1 and the 2. Iggy will play more of his minutes at the 3 spot.

they're over the cap and have used all exceptions. you can always sign guys for the minimum, and that's all we have left. the thing is that we're so close to the lux tax that even a vet's minimum will push us over. they'd have to double the price tag, even though it is so low.

moremilk.... it's obvious that we don't see eye to eye on any subject so I don't know why I really bother TBH... I guess I'm just a sucker.

Parker and Garbo were solid signings. JO was as well inspite of the injuries. Mentioning Salmons (who never signed), Moon (who's an idiot) and Fred Jones (who's useless) is stretching it to say the least.

BC built PHX to be an "offense-first" team. Although there were some defenders there (Marion & Bell) they were always built to score more than to defend.

He's tried to do the same thing with the Raps..... only this team doesn't have close to the level of talent that Suns did.

Get your facts straight as well.

1) I've never in my life mentioned Maggette.

2) Jamison does MUCH more than simply score for his team. And he's far from selfish.

3) Iverson's usefulness doesn't come from JUST his ability to score.... it's HOW he scores... and it's the personality and the energy that he brings to the court. The mental part of the game is just as important as the physical... and that's where this team is really failing right now.

It would be a lot easier to take you seriously if you didn't have a photo of Glenn Beck for an avatar. Just saying.
