iverson is one of the best player in this game and can still score more than

our franchise player and still he can guard his position.

....

and as for BC saying quality players, i just want him to know that quality

player don't always make a good defensiveness team that why where is so

many shit at deffender on our team. we need someon with attuide and a

Cut PoB and Marcus Banks for room and we get ourself an Iverson. Start him and bench Demar; he might be helpful coming off the bench then starting. Trade Jose+Barg for Chris Paul or Dywane Wade somehow.

i think Joze Kauldron should be let go, and replaced by a more well-defined player...

allan iverson would actually do good with this team since he'd have options to pass to scorers and do damage with assists, jose on the other hand can only pass to players standing with both feet on the floor.

We could start him at PG...

I'll tell you this, Rondo would have a tougher time blowing by Iverson than he would Calderon.

And if one of Iverson's teammates gets kneed... he's not going to take it.

Iverson/Derozan/Wright/Evans/Bosh... time to get mean..

Exclamation NBA.com: Nobody wants A.I.? Here are seven teams that should

Quote:
Toronto: There's definitely 30 mpg available in Toronto. With Jose Calderon and Hedo Turkoglu, Iverson would have little-to-zero facilitating responsibilities and could focus strictly on scoring. And, although a Calderon/Iverson backcourt is about as bad defensively as Nash/Iverson, what Iverson would bring with him is more important. The Raptors have been soft and essentially swag-less since Charles Oakley bounced and Vince Carter gave up. What you have now is fairly talented team with a lot of potential, but missing a strut in their steps. If nothing else, Iverson gives the Raptors some machismo. And the hoops-crazed fans in Ontario would love him. In terms of effort, he's the anti-VC.

The problem with this team isn't scoring. And they have guys to take the tough shot. So why really would AI be needed? He wouldn't be.

BC would never go for this lol. I have heard him say right out of his mouth that iverson is pretty much a joke, and he would never even dream of adding him to any team that he is running

A. Offence isn't the problem(only D iverson plays are his numerous gambles for steals/stats)

B. i'm not even convinced iverson improves the offence, i think he just takes away touches from cb and andrea for his 42% chucks

C. turkoglu's a bum, 5 years of this, you have got to be shitting me

D. i take it all back, sign iverson, already bored with these bunch of soft losers and the rook isn't ready. Nothing to lose

The funny thing is that A.I. is actually a "BC player" to a tee.

Massive offense.

Spotty D.

The thing is... he actually has a lot more HEART than anyone else on this team right now.

If we'd have kept Marion I would have been open to this.

A LOT of teams are making a mistake by passing him up. He can still play and if you can get him cheap I don't see how you don't take that chance.

The problem there was they wanted him coming off the bench. Here he would be a starting SG. But there simply isn't enough ball to go around and he's a locker room killer. If he would accept coming off the bench for 25-30MPG here i wouldn't mind. Can you imagine Jack/Iverson/Beli/Bosh/Johnson combo!

Plus the Raptors don't have any $$ to sign him.

Sign him the rest of the season and go all offence and see what happens. It certainly wouldn't be dull.

oooooo 28-27 this is pretty interesting!

I actually voted no but in-light of what has happened since then I would switch it to yes....

Start him at PG and have Jose coming in off the bench.

BC could do a S & T with PHI.... perhaps for either Jack or Jose since PHI needs a PG badly?
