Default What Do You Do With CB4?

It's become evident that although his heart may be in the right place, he's not the man to lead this team. He has great attitude, but he lacks in physical presence. Let's face it, other teams mop the floor with him underneath the basket. He almost never makes a clutch shot and too often sabatoges the team's comeback bid with some stupid uncalled for heroics that ends up in a turnover and slam dunk the other way. Time to trade Bosh now while you can still get something for him. I'm sorry, but he just isn't the answer. If you want to keep him, then make sure you remind him everyday, that he's not MJ. Maybe a regular role on the Raptors for Bosh might work, but no way a leadership role. I don't think he can handle the pressure. He's very often unable to "stay within himself."

I don't agree with you... it is not evident he is not the player to lead us. He's in a slump... I'm thinking he might be hurt... this is not normal. Heart has never been a question with Chris and i doubt it is now... i dont' know if he's just exhausted or hurt but it's not the time to give up on him.

If we could get Beasely for him I'd do it. Roll out with Jose/Beasely/Bargs, we could probably get back on our feet within a couple drafts and then go into 2010 as a nice FA destination with that young talent and a ridiculous whack of capspace. He'd play the role of Bosh right after VC left, it took us 2 seasons to get back to legitimacy then with horrible drafting, I'd take that again and try for better picks.

I've always believed that Chris Bosh was the vocal and moral leader of this team (I still do) but I don't necessarily think he's doing a great job of leading "his" team by example.

When a coach begins preaching new strategies, better rebounding, harder defense, and LESS JUMPSHOTS, implementing is a top-down process that HAS to start with the leader. Chris Bosh has yet to change his style of play, and that's why I don't think he can lead this team.

Look up "leader" in the dictionary and you see names like Kevin Garnett, Kobe, Tim Duncan and Steve Nash. Not only do these players lead vocally and morally, but they set the precedent and help coaches achieve the goals they've set for their teams.

He seems to always be in a slump when he takes the game winning shot, that's for sure. Leaders make those. Bosh is all talk.

How many game winning shots have TD, Ewing, Shaq made? Could you not say they were leaders?

Bosh hasn't always been in a slump. Pair him with a top tier 2 guard or wing player and you'll see how well he plays.
