Default Adams Hurt In Practice

Nothing huge, but I love Sam's quote at the end.

The minor injury prompted coach Sam Mitchell to joke that they do not make players from central Los Angeles, where Adams is from, like they used to.

Maybe so, but if the injury is more serious our lack of depth just got worse.

With a team carrying such a thin roster it's a huge loss.

Plus, he's looked good out there the last two games.

Actually it's 11, but I'm guessing they haven't covered subtraction yet in Math class.

No Hassan Adams, Nathan Jawai, and Will Solomon, so that is 10 players

I just heard on Raptors Today that Moon is having achilles problems - so they were down to 9 today for practice. That was scary enough for Mitchell to eschew all the contact drills and work on other things instead.

I am wondering at this point if Sam is going to sign a contract and be a player coach. I wonder if Sam Still Has Game? Also who would give him the hook. Would he yank himself if he didn't earn any minutes. The things this option could mean lol. I think I have an idea. I got to get Bryan Colangelo on the line lol

Prohibited by the current CBA as one of the ways to circumvent the cap.

time for Colangelo to start admitting he's cocked this up a little. A decent chance to feild a good starting five, no 2/3 player of significance, zero depth at that same position, no depth at the PG position, and including Jawai, who is now out, 5 guys at the PF position, with one that can play center.

hmm.

should be interesting.

we lost 5 players to injuries - not sure how is this Bryan's fault? There are many teams in this league who don't have full rosters, it's extremely rare to have a good starting five and a deep bench without going into luxury territory.

Depth is nice - and without it it's hard to win a title. But success in the playoffs is much more dependant on a quality rotation than anything else.
