I'm honestly pretty excited for this team, more so than I was for the team when we had Turk for the full year.

Calderon healthy with this schedule? Come on son.

Honestly though, I am excited to see if Derozan is better and same goes for Davis. But I'm tired of hoping AB will "take the next step", I like bayless but don't think he's more than a good backup, JJ is ok but nothing special. Looking at this roster, the only two right now I'm excited about are Demar and Ed and maybe add Bayless, Amir. Beyond that it's a clusterfuck, I just hope some of these guys surprise and Casey can get some of our pylons to play D.

Funny how people are upset at these signings, do you expect us to sign Dwight Howard to a 5 year deal? Come on. These signings are 1-year, and they address the glaring weaknesses on the team. I'd rather see how the guys play this year with a new coach before we make a ton of multi-year signings.

These signings are adding grit to the team, something that would benefit all of the young guys like DeRozan. If you think we're better off with Bargnani playing center again, then you're a lost soul.

First of all, never call me son again. Not cool.

I'm honestly tired of seeing if he's going to take that next step too (AB), but, this is essentially his last shot. It's interesting to see what he'll do with a coach who accentuates protecting the paint at all costs.

Bayless had one year (ONE YEAR) only. Let's see what he can do.

Davis, DeRozan and possibly Amir and AB are our core. Let's see if they're actualy part of our core or are just parts.

Every team has role players, but I'd make the argument that we never had the RIGHT role players. Adding a guy like Gray (who I've wanted here for a few years now) is the right play because he's the right type of role player. Has a high IQ, defends well and doesn't force anything. Same goes for Magloire.

So yeah, I'm excited for that. Maybe I'm finally excited to see Colangelo sticking to a plan and not deviating from that plan. He said we needed to defend and rebound better. It makes sense he's adding players who fit that mold.

It's about time and it's actually adding to my faith (slowly in Colangelo) about his plan.

He is going to be a good glue guy on the court. Unselfish, ect.. This is all beginning to look like Andrea's getting his wish list filled. He starts at the four, I think you'll see alot more of the offense running through him at the high post. Its either his break out or maybe amnesty in the off season.

And get Ish Smith, that what I wanted Ish Smith + Aaron Gray. If Ish plays well he might be needed for next season when JV arrives knowing that Ish has some crazy passing potentional.

It looks like one of our PFs will be gone.

The center position is filling itself with Alabi, Magloire and now Gray. Someone out of Bargnani, Amir Johnson and Ed Davis will lose minutes.

Played well in the playoffs last year. Good hands and some decent moves. Wouldn't mind keeping him on after next year if Alabi really is no good.

BC is determined to make sure Bargnani doesn't play a minute at center. If he sucks for another year hes out of excuses, and BC would be out of excuses to trade him... that is what it looks like.

Cool pickup. Better than Kwame or Chuck Hayes for our purposes. A nice utility big that would be great to have around longer if it works out that way.
