3rd Option

Now that DD is starting to become a dominant scorer, we have him and Bargs who can put up points. At some point we'll need a consistent 3rd option, who would that guy be?

DuCa00795 01-24-2011 09:06 PM

Ajinca + Gaines = 3rd option!!!!

jeffb 01-24-2011 09:08 PM

When Healthy ....one of Barbosa, Kleiza, Jose

By next season i really hope there is a clear cut number one.....that isn't currently on this team.

#1 option- ?
#2 option- Derozan
#3 option- Bargnani

* 2 & 3 interchangeable on any given night depending on matchups

Shifty.py 01-24-2011 09:15 PM

Bargnani has to be first option, else he's hurting the team.
Right now third is Barbosa. With him down - Kleiza? hurt also, leaves Bayless

Amir and Davis can finish at high rate if someone creates a shot for them

Calderon...

i think DD and bargs are fornow our two first option.

bayless, amir and barbosa are our 3rd option at the moment.

i would like to see if kleiza when he will be healthy can be our constant 3rd option.
but in fact i would give Bc time to find a better 3rd option.
we need a guy like wirght on the floor to defend and rebound.
we need amir to make more points and become our real 3rd option.

and bayless if he grows up a little in this game, ike tonight, i would be please if he can become the offensive weapon we need as our pg.

ha123 01-24-2011 11:50 PM

DD should be the first option. I don't care if he goes 9/25 as long as he is getting shots. Bargs can be the second option. I think Bayless should be our third. Jose and Barbosa can score as well but they are too inconsistent.

Demar has really impressed me lately. his bball iq definitely went up, using his dribbles more wisely, footwork, showing glimpses of great D, and tonight he grabbed bare boardss :yeah:

What I really want to know is, who's going to be our 4th and 5th options?

Whos 4th and 5th on any of the big teams?
past all-stars they have a slew of utility guys, chipping in on different nights.

Clearly your sarcasm detector is not working. :)

Our top 3 options next year in no particular order.... AB, DD, AI.

Andre Iguodala guards the other team's best player. He'll give you 16 points, five, six assists, six, seven rebounds and a couple of steals most nights. I'll take that guy on my team every day."

Maybe so.... but he'd fit perfectly on this team. If he could buy into being one of our relatively big 3...

Admiral 01-25-2011 09:04 PM

because of the way the nba is now, 1 of your top options really has to be the guy who holds the ball the most and creates most of the plays, so in reality, 1 of your top options needs to be your PG
our 3rd option would have to be jose but that scares me, hopefully we get a new starting PG
it definitely works best that your top 3 options are a big, a wing and a PG

examples:
spurs - TD, manu, parker
boston - kg, pierce/ray allen, rondo
magic - dwight, jameer, and anyone of their wings

merlin2049er 01-25-2011 10:26 PM

Blake Griffin, now they have to figure out how to trade for him.
