![]() Three of the top five draft eligible players appear to be returning to college this year. Pundits say the uncertainty of the NBA labour bargaining agreement has influenced Jared Sullinger, Perry Jones and potentially Harison Barnes' (appears to be staying) decisions to avoid the draft.
This puts real pressure on the lottery considering there are two players at the top of the draft who are legitimate impact prospects, being Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams. My question to all is thus, If the Raptors, who finished with the third worst record in the NBA this season receive the third pick in the draft who should they select? My preference is for Brandon Knight because he would be an upgrade at the one, has the same type of work ethic as Demar and has one NBA-ready skill with his three point shooting. Also, he addresses the Raptors NBA worst three point shooting. Thoughts? |

![]() I've said it before and i'll say it again, i don't want to draft a big. They're a crap shoot and usually take too long to develop. And our luck in the past when drafting Centers has been pretty awful. I'd rather draft an atheltic PG or SF and get an experienced Center through a trade or signing. If we draft a Center or PF i'll be pretty pissed. And this draft pick is extremely important and Kanter has had knee issues.

![]() You don't know any of that as fact what's so ever. Kanter has had knee issues in the past and i don't want a big taken in the draft to begin with let alone one with knee problems. We can trade for a Center or try and sign one. And trust me, one of those two options can be done one way or another.

![]() for staying in school? Yeah losers they're.
Jared Sullinger comes from a very good family. He loves college so no reason to rush to the NBA when he might not even get to play the first year. I was really surprise about Perry Jones. I thought he was a LOCK to go pro. Nice to see. Barnes wants to win a title. Don't know anything about his family but big props to him for coming back if he does. |

![]() It could be a shame if none of the rookies can play basketball in the NBA next year.
There are negatives for both and positives for both. Just depends on the player. Most will go pro. Some will stay. Not many. Didn't hurt Tim Duncan or Blake Griffin returning to College for more years. |

![]() One of the reasons it could be a stronger draft is because these players are returning and people believe they will go pro next year?
The odds of these players coming back next year and just doing terrible are not likely. Maybe for Perry Jones. But Jared Sullinger and Harrison Barnes I don't see it. Injury could happen but you can injured from getting out of bed. |
