Tyson Chandler power forward version.

Probably not his ceiling, he can be much better, but I see him being a double double guy, hopefully we can find minutes for him.

He'll never be Tyson Chandler like.

I think he has the potential to average a near double-double but definitely won't be Chandler level on D. Chandler is tall+athletic but Amir is lacking size.

So maybe eventually 12 ppg, 9 rpg for Amir?

He needs to improve his mid range game. But the guy is an all out hustler. I rate him a B

Ben Wallace was much less mechanical and much more explosive..... but I'm struggling to think of a comparable piece.....

I liken him to Scola for his ability to score tough baskets finishing in close. He's not as pretty as Luis, but the both of them manage to do the job with more grit than size.

Why can't he be a defensive specialist, shot blocker and rebounder from a PF standpoint? And avg a double double? and good vertical leap?

Like carp, it's hard to think of a comparison for him.

He's not as athletic as Chandler was.... but he can be a defensive specialist. He kind of reminds me of Dennis Rodman with his movement....

i don't anticipate amir being much more than the player he already is. although i love how he plays much bigger than he is, the truth is, he has a small forward body and he doesn't have the skill, athleticism or strength to compensate his size against his position. i love him as a back-up, but i don't see double-doubles, defensive anchors or starting positions in his ceiling.

i think amir is reaching is ceiling, i only see him developing hi defensive game more, but that will allow him to stay on the court more and get more rebounds and hustle
but the overall game will be about the same

Amir is as he will be and as Admiral says, will probably develop his D more. As a starter, I give him a C+....as a future back-up and first guy off the bench, A.

I don't think he'll get much better, but with minutes he could put up good numbers. Something like 14pts/9rebs/1.5blks/1.5asts/1stl and with all the intangibles.

Maybe something like Kenyon Martin numbers, but with better percentages. IF he were getting the minutes.

I can see that too....Amir seems a little flat footed when compared to K-mart. I think though Amir will be more consistent- IF he gets consistent minutes.
