i have given up on voting because basically the popular players always win, so there's really no point
we'll just have to see our Raptors get picked by the coaches for the all-star reserves

Default Rock the Vote for the 2009 All Star Game

Voting is now underway for the 2009 NBA All-Star game!. There are four Raptors on the ballot this year. Vote early and often and send Chris Bosh, Anthony Parker, Jermaine O'Neal and Jose Calderon to the All-Star Game in Phoenix! You can use Bargnani as your write-in player.

On another note, vote for Stephon Marbury as many times as possible

Vote Here

Default Vote for your Raptor All-stars.

I'm voted many times already, just reminding you guys to vote as well. I really want Bosh and Jose to start for the East and hopefully O' Neal can come off the bench. And why isn't Bargnani on the all-star candidate list?

Yao, yes but I don't think Chinese basketball fanatics are THAT crazy about Yi.
It's pretty tough competition for the PF position in the east, Bosh, Yi, Garnett. I just don't see Bosh or Garnett not being on the all-stars.

Lebron is counted as a forward. So, in reality, it'll probably be Lebon and KG as starters. Bosh will finish 3rd.

^^
Yi was not on the ballot, but a lot of the fans wrote his name in, which pretty much gives you an idea that he'll probably be voted in the top 10 but there's no way he'll be in

Magic's Howard might not try and defend slam dunk title

Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard might be leaning toward retiring his cape.

Howard, who won the slam dunk contest on All-Star weekend, dressed up like Superman and "flew" to the hoop to secure the top prize. He seems to be leaning toward resting on his laurels.

"There's a good saying, 'Quit while you're ahead,' " Howard said. "I thought I did a great job at the dunk contest last year. I think everybody liked it. I don't want to mess that up.

"I could top what I did last year in the dunk contest; I do have a lot of ideas. I'm still hoping to do it but Superman and that whole weekend . . . It opened up so many doors in my life, and it showed my personality for people who didn't know Dwight Howard."
