Chad Ford has us taking Evans. I like that option much more than Curry.

If Curry dropped to the Raptors, we would have the worst defensive point guard tandem in the NBA. That's all we need, another defensive liability. Dude is a great shooter, but has below average quickness, very slender and weak. In has been reported Knicks love Stephen Curry, but if NYK picks Tyreke Evans, Raptors are screwed. Don't think you can put Curry at SG, the guy is 6'2 or 6'3.

He can put the ball in the basket unlike anyone else in the draft, but people are worried that his height and lack of lateral quicks are going to make him a liability. He's talented as hell though.

I don't see Demar Derozan being a viable pick for the Knicks. There's already a logjam at the wing spots, and the nasty contracts at those wing spots make trades extremely unlikely. Or this is just me trying to convince myself that Derozan will still be there when we're up to bat.

Didnt the Knicks already tell Curry they will draft him? That means Derozan is falling to us, I'd take him over Evans.

He wouldnt just help solve one problem, he'd help solve 2. Hed play backup Small Forward, and backup Shooting Guard.

Its quite possible that he'll move to starter before the end of this season, bu definately not at the start.

I'd think that DeRozan is going to Minnesota. The T'Wolves are likely to lose Carney to free agency and Brewer can't seem to stay healthy, so the choice should be DeRozan.

Derozan main weakness is his ball-handling skills and his ability to create his own shot. The more we can take some of Jose's ball handling responsibilities, the less risk we lose Jose to injury. Tyreke Evans' main strength is his ball handling skills, can dribble with either hand, and his ability to get to the rim and finish strong.

It's gotta be someone that can step in right away and defend. Not Curry.

since when has BC opted for Defense over Offense?
if his track record tells you anything, Defense isnt a top priority for the man... and if Curry impresses at the workouts and is still on the board - you can bet your bottom dollar that BC is selecting him.

However, if the NY rumour has any truth to it, and they select Curry, i think BC will take Derozan.

The trade for JO was for rebounding and someone who can be a defensive force in the paint after Howard killed us in the playoffs. I think BC has changed his personnel strategy saying he wants a tougher, competitive team. He also mentioned he wanted to improve the perimeter defence and wanted to sign Parker in a back-up role. Starting shooting guard position is available! Hello Tyreke Evans.

ON ESPN it showed Memphis taking Thabeet. Although for us I want a 2 guard that can score and play D. IF wecan get that I'll be happy. If Stephen Curry is the best available player I wouldn't mind taking him

All Triano has talked about is improving defensively. If they are just going to pay lip service to the idea, then hiring Triano was an abysmal joke, as opposed to just the joke that many think it is already.

That is if we stay at 9.

Let's take Holliday. He might take time to develop, but this product sure looks worth it at pick #10.
