Yea Andriuskevicius was very dissapointing at the world championship. Looked lost on the court. Being 24 is no longer young. Kleiza is only 25.

Will Google this Anisimovas guy... never heard of him. How old and what's his full name?

Michail Anisimov. Ukrainian heritage. Don't waste your time on him. Yes, he played better than Marty in the last camp, but he is not a better player. I don't think he can play in ACb you know. Course, you will say, so how Marty can play there? I don't know, they both not great.

I actually know Marty as a person a little. He play in Spain, makes money, his apartment is gorgeous. No one bashing him, just saying, 18 year old Valanciunas, compare to 18 year old Andriuskevicius, not even close Marty...

Jonas is faster, sharper player. More athletic and has no psychological issues on the floor. Marty is very uncoordinated. He just like Jonas after 10 beers.

Don't waste your time with Anisimovas. He is no good. Being better than Andriuskevicius doesnt mean much.

In general he is not really good though all of those times I have seen them playing against each other Andriuskevicius was owned badly.

24 is young but not that young. Kalnietis is 24 and he was the main PG in WC. Kleiza is 25 and was the leader. Pocius is 24 and one of the best lithuanian guys during summer. Gecevicius is 22.

Motiejunas is 19 while Valanciunas is 18...

Andriuskevicius isnt that good looking... and he doesnt look like he improved a lot and seems like getting less minutes on ACB this season as well...

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm expecting a lot from the Lavrinovic brothers during the next tournament. We'll see how it goes.

P.S. my girlfriend is a twin too lol.

Lavrinovic twins are great on offense but their rebounding and defense sucks. in fact one of the reason why Eurobasket 09 was such a disaster that we never found how to defend and contribute on offense at the same time - Lavrinovic brothers may look impressive as long as you look offense but they were responsible for many defensive mishaps of that team in Euro.

Kemzura prefers fast offense but also very active and tough defense something that both Lavrinovic brothers are not known for...

Add this that both Twin are getting older and more injury prone with years - I am not so sure if we would definitely see them. Maybe one of them.

Of course right now I would still pick them over Valanciunas but not by a very big margin considering that Valanciunas play style seems to fit Kemzura's game plan better than the twins.

Has Simas Jasaitis still not signed a contract? Can't find it online. Also, why didn't the Turkish team resign him? He had good statistics.

Thanks for the info about the Lavrinovic brothers Darknemo2000. I didn't know they played poor defense considering their big bodies. I remember the last Eurobasket in Poland... so bad. I don't think the played bad defense in the last Olympics though.

We'll see as time gets closer. Lietuva certainly needs some big defenders in the post though.

I dont think brothers are so bad defenders or rebounders. They bad on ball defenders, but they can play D in the post. Rebounding? Course they aren't very good at it, but it's all right. Marijonas Petravicius - now thats a bad rebounder.

Thanks... My grandparents (who live in Lietuva) mentioned something about him finally having an offer but I don't really trust them about basketball.

Do you have any information on why he turned down the Turkish team and Prokom? Maybe he wanted more money or didn't like conditions? I can't find any reliable any information in English.

Any speculation about which Spanish club? Is he getting paid less because the season already started (I think)?

Read a Lithuanian site about how he would not play for a Lithuanian club lol. Wonder why. Money?

Money doesn't matter to him. He wants to play in Spain. Valencia and Unicaja was intersted in him. Maybe he will play in one of those teams.
