Ya i like the fact that the jersey is clean. There was a sketch out to have "Blue Army" on the front of the jersey where the sponsor normally goes but I guess the fans decided against it. Would have been cool too.

I missed the chelsea game. We cancelled Setanta for the summer yesterday (aint paying $15 a month for nothing haha).

How was the game, i heard Saha's 1st minute strike was nice..

shitty quality but a quick search saw them

Drogba and Lampard had great goals and Malouda's strike didn't count, even tough it crossed the line

Everton only had a couple scoring chances after their goal

the game was more up tempo compared to past FA Cup finals

Imagine them playing Real Madrid. They will lose 10-0.

I was thinking about cancelling Setanta as well, but will probably do it after the World Cup qualifiers.

yeah - Toronto FC was rubbish yesterday. complete and utter shit.

In the past i used to get defensive about TFC and the MLS and compare it to the championship or what have you, but in all honesty, that was just hot air. The quality of the MLS is really piss poor compared to most european leagues.

I find that they just don't use the whole field enough. That and the spacing of the players is just off. Everyone seems to just chase after the ball. There's very little fluidity to the game.

Oh well... I still get entertained when i watch the MLS and TFC, but sometimes it's just more frustrating than fun. Yesterday was one of those games...

Of course we are going to be entertained because we all want that soccer feeling here that is of the norm in europe.

I know that we are going through the growing pains and that in the future it will get better but sometimes i just roll my eyes at the crap i see.

I was sitting there watchign with my bros and we were like, these guys cant string together 3 consecutive passes without giving the ball up.. For f-sakes, my younger bros OYSL team did a better job at that! We cant even do that basics!

I'll still support the team but as a supporter im allowed to criticize when they fucking suck.

sure it is.

Manchester City got Gareth Barry. There was rumour of him going to Liverpool. I don't think he's all that great anyways.

Man City got a good player

leaves Liverpool with more money to get someone like Tevez, as rumors suggest

Man, these transfers are such roller coasters. I've vowed to only believe a transfer is completed when i see the player holding up his new team's shirt.

He's amazing. Definitely the main reason why aston villa did so good this year. If city can get ronaldinho... they will be top 4 in the EPL next year.

Rumours of becks to chelsea now if he can get it cleared from LA?? lol Gosh i hope so.. I will buy both home and away chelsea beckham jerseys lol. What's with them holding onto so many old midfielders? lol Ballack also resigned today for a year.

Kaka's spokesman says the move to REAL is not done yet. But it's most likely going to be done.

He's a good player, but i wouldn't call him amazing. Aston Villa were hot for a while, but then they looked like a horrible side for what seemed like a very long stretch of games.

I haven't seen him play all that often, nor have i really analyzed his games, but from what i have seen of him, i never once thought he would be a difference maker on a top team.

He's OK, but IMO, definately not a guy to go to a bidding war over.

As for Manchester City.... they already have a high enough payroll. I wouldn't say they need any more stars. They need a fucking good manager and some proper team direction. Sven comes to mind. oh wait.
