ah shit. i forgot to set my PVR. I'm sure that there will be a replay in prime time, so i'll just watch it later. I'll stay away from this thread once the game starts though.

United was absolutely outclassed. That's the end of it.

Barca deserves it.

Not sure why Ferguson had tevez, scholesy on the bench with the likes of Carrick and Park and Anderson starting. Should had then in right away to get the job done instead of bringing them on too late to catch up.

Anyways congrats to barca!

Xavi player of the game. He was also the MVP of the eurocup. He is piling them.

Ya he played well today.

Im just disappointed in this game. I was expecting a high intensity match but barca just dominated after they scored.

great game, well worth making up an excuse to get out of work at 2 to make it home and watch in its entirety

I never knew Man U could play that bad
their defense looked like Arsenal's
Man U was afraid to adopt Cheslea tactics

Inesta, Puyol and Messi played well

game could have been better
I was expecting a more competitive game, but Barca did their part

anyone on this thread still thinks iniesta sucks? And can we all finally say Barca is the best team now without offending anyone.

Thank you, I was waiting for someone to say something. To all those that thought Xavi and Iniesta were overrated, this game was won by Barca's superb midfield. Man U never looked comfortable and if anything it should show Ferguson where some money needs to be spent. They're not creative in the midfield and are still relying on old legs like Scholes and Giggs.

Puyol was absolutely amazing. He played with his heart today and I'm glad I was able to watch it. Henry looks old out there though.

Ronaldo pissed me off today. The fact that he pouts as a child makes me even angrier. The knock to the head of Puyol should've gotten him a yellow, then finally the ref decided to give him a yellow for the blatant shove. About damn time. He's a world class player, but he makes me so angry due to his arrogance and it's this that will always stop him from being a truly great player.

Henry was still injured though. Kudos to him for doing anything he could to play. Cristiano is such a douche. I dont know if you noticed but he kicked the ball to barsas bench when the game was stopped in a play. And yeah Xavi's view of the field is something special.

Better team won. Barca's first goal just knocked the wind out of United's sails for whatever reason.

Claud- carrick and anderson ( and rooney when he's not playing up top) offer plenty of creativity in the middle, they've shown it over the past 2 seasons, just today wasn't the greatest advertisement. The team needs strengthening- right back, possible replacement for tevez ( who i frankly don't want back if 30 mil continues to be the asking price) and possibly another winger, but not in the center of midfield.
