They offered a 100 mil for kaka which was declined. That's about right... Iniesta is around 1/3 as good as Kaka .

if you knew how to do math, 39/100 is approximately 40%, 1.3 is 33.3%. HAHAHAHAHAHA

do you know what AROUND 1/3 means? Within 7 percent seems to be AROUND the same number.

good try though.

with youre logic, 39% is almost 50 % which is 1/2 so anyone who gets transfered for twice as much as another player is twice as good. Real smart thinking.

First of all ... it was a joke... making fun of Iniesta. Second of all, mine was within 7% and now you're extending it to be beyond 10%? But jokes aside... why would City pay so much for Kaka and only 40% of that number to Iniesta?

I already gave the analogy of Iniesta/Xavi being Fisher and Ariza on the Lakers. They get to play with World players of the year (Ronaldinho before and maybe Messi this year)... they are just role players and nowhere near the best midfield pair in the world. People here said they were even better than Gerrard!

If you mean center mids... AC Milan when they play Kaka, Pirlo and Gattuso in a triangle as the mid. But if you're going just for a pair.. Kaka and Gattuso. They have been plagued with injuries though this season.

On Barcelona the ball runs through the wings.. especially Messi. The same is said for United with C.Ronaldo.. Xavi/Iniesta is just an upgraded Giggs/Scholes. That is why I think Lampard/Essien are better, they don't have a superstar winger to go through. Just my thoughts.

Wow dude, you really have no idea what you are talking about. Are you sure you have seen Barcelona play?

To the Chelsea supporters: Why is Guus Hiddink not coming back? He's done a great job after the poor start credited to Scolari.

I know that, but it seems that Roman Abramovich doesn't want him back.

did he say that

Abramovic finances Russian soccer
he wants them to do well and Hiddink is doing a good job
he doesnt want to throw off the momentum and bring in another manager

maybe he feels Chelsea can get a top manager in the summer

Hiddink is a top manager. They fired Mourniho or whatever last year. Maybe, Abramovich needs to stop meddling for once.

LOL Bel. I watch almost every barcelona game because my brother loves them. Go on youtube and search for any barcelona match highlights... they will recap the match in 10 minutes. Every single highlight of a shot... or anything productive... comes from their wings. When they are ahead a goal or two... Xavi/Iniesta do a good job keeping possession of the ball.

In terms of Chelsea what TO said was right... the world cup is next year and it would be too distracting for Guus. I heard they are eyeing Sven Goran Ericksson but all just rumours.

Yeah, that is IF Russia qualifies though.

And Man City will rue the day, they forced Ericksson out of the top.

I think Abramovich would love to keep him. He can't because he'd be declared public enemy #1 in Russia if he coaxes Hiddink away- they're already furious and so are the Russian FA from what i gather. Not sure Abramovich wants all that.
