Fucking great goal.... I love this guy. He played a great game all around - all hustle and determination.
Carra and Skrtel were fucking ON today and proved a handful all game long. especially Skrtel. Rafa played conservative yes, but could anyone really blame him? And anyways watching every team in the premiership play that way AGAINST us, there's some justice in us using that approach - especially with how dangerous Madrid was playing in the first half. However, i will say that Liverpool played a much better 2nd half - all in all, i'm going to have to disagree with the Italian label.

3. your avatar will be pm'd to you tomorrow Belsius.

and dont tell me to shut up bitch...ive been to anfield and my family are all Liverpudlians...this is as much my victory as anyones.

Oh Quad, I see you dont really follow soccer. I have many Italian friends and they all understand the hate towards their style and national team. The truth is they have one of the best leagues and national teams in the world, but it has been corrupted by dirty players, ultra conservative coaches, violent fans and crooked owners.

That been said, not everyone of them is like that at all. Theres the Italian style wich is defensive but tries to play and move the ball too.

+1, i was watching the game and higuin made so many stupid decisions and never capatalized. madrids corners were also bad and the best opportunity was the arjen robben blast.

hahaha Quad core! Even you can't get me of my high. Just take a lesson. In a place like this where most of us get along with eachother - you should be a more "graceful" victor. Otherwise you won't make any firends
Now give me a high five after our great win and let's move on.

Anyways, enough negativity. Today is a good and happy day - the reds come through without Gerrard. I'd even say Torres did not look fully fit while he was playing. Rafa managed a great game all in all and Reina was huge.

so let's all sing together

L-I-V
E-R-P
double O - L
Liverpool FC!

cheers.

BTW. That Robben is a beast i say. wow.

When you walk through a storm, hold your head up high, and don't be afraid of the dark. At the end of a storm, there's a golden sky, and the sweet silver song of a lark. Walk on through the wind, walk on through the rain, though your dreams be tossed and blown. Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone... You'll never walk alone. Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart, and you'll never walk alone... You'll never walk alone.

So i didn't realize this whilst i was watching the game, but Liverpool had more spaniards in the starting lineup than Real did. Interesting.

And i don't usually defend Scousers, but there's nothing wrong with defensive football. At this stage in the competition, results are what matters. If you're a fan of the team you're watching, you're biting your nails regardless of weather the match is entertaining or not.

And Belsius - you are a good sport, man. Although I was kind of hoping you would have picked Rudolfo.

Poor Juve still feeling the loss. Clearly though Chelsea is the more talented team and Nedved was one of the Bianconeri's best players.

Well its the 2nd year in Serie A and first in C.L since the Scandal so guys go to Torino and give them back a punch in a fortnight

I think Juve should've gone after another midfielder. They must be a little short of cash after missing CL for the last two years. They're really quite long in the tooth.
I don't think Ranieri is the manager to bring them back to their former glory either.

To be honest......I really don't know shit about soccer.

Juve will have to go after another midfielder now seeing as how nedved will retire at the end of the season.

Juve have had rumours to Silva, Ribery, Diego and Cassano.

Cassano is looking like the strongest rumour. Personally I think Juve should go after depth rahter than the cutest girl at the dance.

The have holes in midfield and defense and should grab about 3 decent transfers before going for the golden prize
