They should have gone harder after Robinio, he really would have made a difference.

What no Hull City Tigers fans in the house?
"One is the loneliest number....."

I'm also a Juventus fan and I'm not even Italian.
A buddy of mine from work got me into soccer for the first time a couple years ago. He's as big a fan of Juve as I am the Raps. It's all we bloody talk about.

LOL Hull fans were around the first 5 weeks or so of the season. Now they come back down to life.

As for Juve I've been one all my life thanks to watching Serie A games as a young kid with my dad.

I really Hope (but know it won't happen) and see Juve pull a 4-3-3 system with Trez-ADP-Amauri in the game together.

I think it would work but Ranieri is too much of a Dinosaur to take such a risk

in most of canada curling is far more important than soccer. probably only in montreal and toronto (and maybe vancouver) does the champs league even register. what these bozos need to do is cater their programming to more regional audiences.

That is the problem with TSN, they don't have regional channels. I was hoping sportsnet would get the rights for the champions league.

Barcelona is probably the best squad in the world right now. I think they'll be in the finals. Them beat Lyon on the road by 2 isnt a stretch.

yea I know.. it makes me sad. But I think you mean the best attacking squad in the world right now. The best team has to be man united.. they havent conceded a goal in many many league matches in a row!

That being said.. Govou and clerc are out for Lyon. But if they can play some defence, Juninho and Benzema can work some magic

Right now, Barcelona is in a little slump. But overall this year Barcelona>Manchester By far. I dont know if you guys have watched them play but we are talking about one of the best teams in history. They have only lost 2 games in the whole season averaging 3 goals in every competition. Their defense is almost as good as their attack. And apart of that, the way they play is just extremely beautiful. They are the whole package. Effort, quality and killer instinct.

All this comes from a Real Madrid fan, no bias.

Dude, they conceded a goal this weekend (albeit, van de Saar wasn't between the pipes, but still).

Wow, what a game. props to lyon for their smart play. And barcelona too for having patience. So far the team that has challenged barcelona more this year although the momment Barsa dominates a little the ball, the have to run a lot to stop them. lets see if Lyon can keep the rythm.

BTW Benzema is a beast. Even better than I though he was. I hope the rumors are true and he is comming to Real. A goal in freekick by Juninho was something easy to predict.

Sir Alex has been hot on his trail for a good few years now. I think if Lyon was to transfer him in the off-season, I'd be willing to bet that he'll be making Old Trafford his stomping ground next season.
