Donovan is known as being very prissy and a real whiner. He struck a nerve with Toronto fans a couple of years ago when LA came into town and called the surface at BMO Field, "a joke". A lot of other players have voiced their displeasure with the surface as well, but only Landycakes gets the grills.

Until they put real grass in, it will continue to be a joke. It's so frustrating that they sink all this money into such an endeavour and skimp on the most important part.

I've played football on artificial grass and it didn't bother me

It does slow down the ball when you pass it and the ball doesn't bounce as hig

I play street football or however is called in english so I have played very few times in grass (artificial or real). But if you are used to play in real, apart of what you have mentioned, articifial can be bad for the knees and it can produce injuries.

You can get some seriously nasty turf burns if you tackle on an artificial turf. I honestly don't know how Fifa allows it.

i think the whole "bad on the knees" thing is exaggerated. The artificial grass they have at BMO is just like regular soil. I have walked (and ran) on it during a pitch invasion in the first year. There is plenty of "give" and shock absorption if you will. Trust me - it feels just like regular grass.

Now astroturf is another thing. That was the bright green carpet from the 70's and 80's. yeah that shit was bad on the knees. I just don't see it so much with the turf they have now.

If you can skip work or school early I'll tell you on Tuesday TLN is showing Inter vs. Man U and on Wedneday you can see Juve vs. Chelsea LIVE. Check local listings if their is any games you want to see live.

Emirates Stadium
Arsenal v AS Roma

Stade de Gerland
Lyon v Barcelona

Vicente Calderon

Wednesday - All Games 2:45pm EST

Stamford Bridge
Chelsea v Juventus

Estadio El Madrigal

I love CL action. Definately Catching INter vs. Man U and Juve vs. Chelsea. The bars will prob have other games on as well which will make it rather confusing.

And Belsius don't you think the La Liga Teams got a very fortunate draw?

I mean Barce vs. Lyon LOL

Except Real Madrid

You can bet Atletico wont pass though. They are much better than Oporto but you know they will always find a way to screw up.

So my beloved Arsenal has another 0-0 tie. Teams like Sunderland are ruining the game. They put 11 guys behind the ball, there is no room for skilled players to operate in. It results in a boring game. Hoepfully they can rebound against Roma, but it will be tough without Arshavin, Fabregas, Adebayor, Eduardo, and Walcott.

Hopefully Inter can beat Man U.

im worried abour arsenal. They are not playing well right now. Barca should cruise, but they lost their derby 2-1. That was a bad call by the ref for the red card. Madrid will easily dispose of liverpool(sorry liverpool supporters). I want to see inter win and chelsea to win. Kinda sucks in a way that there are some really good teams playing so far and crappy teams playing. That means some good teams will get eliminated now, but we also are able to watch better games.
