I haven't unless it was referring to the pizza baby crap. regardless it's off topic.

united expressing interest in fabregas, and it's mutual

Well let's say non-soccer related then.

I don't think he'll go to ManU. Now that they (Barca) messed up with Thiago they'll make sure to keep Cesc.

They really need a CB though - I think Rami is a cheap but decent option and could be had for less if a prospect like Sergi Gomez is offered with the bid. Silva would cost way too much. Hummels or Subotic would really help them but I don't think either of them will leave - this summer @ least.

they really should have gone in for vertonghen. Well, I'm happy they didn't

On a side note Simeon Jackson was released by Norwich and now is signed on for 2 years for freshly promoted Eintracht Braunschweig of the Bundesliga. Glad he was able to stay in a top league.

I hate how my team overstacks but it could be worse - we could have an on-loan team

bale's not going. spurs will be in the top 3 if soldado deal gets done. if we get a good lb, possibly top 2

ya it's done. Top 3 sure thing. They should just cancel the season now.

You are so short sighted.

There are lots of teams who will fight for top 4 and it should be a pretty good fight as it stands right now.

I've noticed most Spurs fans think the same way as pzabby.

You know who United should consider getting to partner Carrick-Ever Banega. He'll probably be around the same price as the Fro. Already has the merits, is still young-born in 1988. Only issue would be is if he's too similar to Carrick. Idk just throwing something out there.

Also- I don't know what I dislike more - getting Bale or Ramos' new hairstyle.

I know it's unnecessary.

Uggh. The 2nd best attacking talent in the world with an overpriced player who although share similarities was not putting up the stats that the other was and playing on a much better team and winning titles, reaching finals, etc VS. Another overpriced player never to play in a top league paired with the best attacking talent in the world.

you're right. I'm in no way denying that it will be close. I think the top of the table this season will be the closest in a really long time, especially with the united change. City, while getting a better manager, and great players, still have JUST gotten a new manager. it will take time for the team to adapt to his style, and for him to adapt his style to the EPL. Chelsea, again, new manager, and honestly defensively their midfield is very suspect. Spurs are one of the few top sides to have the same manager going in, and have actually made impressive signings (see: arsenal).

it'll be very close. But I think spurs will be in the top 3, not top 4-6.

liverpool I think will overtake everton, but that really depends on what happens with suarez

Shades of David Beckham as Real Madrid prepare to buy British again and lure Gareth Bale to Spain - Telegraph

interesting points and does remind me a lot about Beckham or what I refer to as the demise of Real on the field which coincided with a big rise of Real off the field.

soldado fee agreed, 30 mil euros or 26 mil pounds. subject to medical and wages so will prob be done by tomorrow.

rumours are we'll go after lamela if bale is sold. given baldini I suppose it makes sense. but I don't see spurs coughing up the 40 mil or so euros it would take to pry him away from roma. he's not a sure thing like bale, more so potential than a finished product. although, if not lamela, I don't know who we would target to replace him realistically.

it's all bullocks though. bale's not leaving, and with the signings we've made, I can see us challenging for top 3, maybe top 2.

we sold caulker to cardiff though. I'm not sure about this. he's showed a lot of promise, and is a 22 YO homegrown CB who is one of the best young CB's england has. I trust AVB and Baldini's scouting though and if they think we can find better, then I trust them. rumours were we were after vlad, from romania, who was touted as a right footed vertonghen in playing style. that fell through though. maybe alderwield now?
