José Campaña moving to Crystal Palace for €2m. I've always wanted to get into La Liga and I like Sevilla but players leaving every team, except the big 2, is annoying.

It's sad to see Sevilla do all those things but they've been playing beneath their talent level for the last couple of seasons. They have to do what they have to do financially. I'm actually surprised Valencia hasn't sold Canales, Soldado, Rami, Guaita, Alves, Mathieu, or Banega. Also Barca has been pretty bad - they've gotten rid of Abidal, Muniesa (on a free to Stoke?!?!?!), Villa(bargain of the summer), Thiago (for lower than what they could have sold him) and Fontas (for only like 1million euros I believe) while only bringing in Neymar (10th most expensive transfer ever).

Woohoo, apparently United are making an official 60 million pound bid for Bale. Here's to hoping Giggs', the appeal of playing at United, and the appeal of being the man at United will bring him to United Let the negotiations begin! United have already lost out on a lot players and Moyes will want to make a big splash.

hahahahahaha, I'd bet any amount of money anyone wants, with whatever odds, that bale will not leave for united this summer. Hell, i'd be inclined to say ever unless it breaks the transfer record, and even then....

It would be the highest BPL to BPL transfer ever. I just would like it cuz it means he wouldn't be coming to Real.

Are you ok? I'm not dreaming. Bale for 60 million POUNDS (about 69.6 million EUROS) is what United will offer with their first bid. Cavani went for 64 million EUROS to PSG.

City would never do this but it'd be a dream: Kaka and Higuain for Aguero.

pzabby, you're overrating Bale man. I mean he's a great player and all, but if someone offers you that much coin for a player you take it and run. I know you think that Spurs are Top 3 right now (They're not sorry) but you take that money and invest it. Heck, you could probably get Lewa for 35 say, and then target some youth players like Erik Lamela from Roma. But that's just me...

+1

Thank you.

Also, speaking of taking the money and run. You never know when a player can get injured or lose current form - perfect example - Giuseppe Rossi. Villarreal had just sold Santi but could've sold Rossi the same summer for 30-40 million euros. They didn't. He had a brutal injury and then they sold him at the beginning of January 2013 for only 10 million euros.

lamela would cost 35 at the least, and that's only if he wants to come to us. you've forgotten that without bale we lose a lot of pull in terms of interesting players. i'd rather have one bale than 5 joe coles. we're not villa where the player has handed in a transfer request, or has made it public he wants to leave like moddick, we're talking about a kid who has shown no intention in wanting to leave this summer, a kid who won 4 BPL awards last season, a kid who's arguably a top 5 player in the world, a kid who hasn't even PEAKED YET, and we're in a good financial spot, and our billionaire owner joe lewis has presumably opened his wallet this season for the first time since redknapp took over.

60 ain't as much as it used to be. plus you have to factor in revenue from marketing bale, that in itself is a lot of money.

also, it'd be to an epl team who recently lost arguably the best manager to have ever lived so noone knows how they might turn out. they could very well be fighting for the 3-5th spots this season between us and le arse like us, chelscum, and le arse did last season

Um, good for them? Not impressed by him. Has done nothing to improve the d - both via signings and tactically.

They're actually targeting both Higuain and Damiao. To me, they should get a top Forward and Midfielder. Then they would be really dangerous and not only in Italy.

I've heard they've already agreed a 35 million euros transfer fee. However he's holding out to get possibly better wage than the 5 million euro / year they're offering and he also wants a better share of his image rights.
