Yup, just like how ManU gets away with having s**t play beside Carrick and how Barca gets away with playing a crippled Puyol, Masch or random player at CB beside Pique. Then in UCL...

Also, Ligue 1 is pretty interesting - a different winner for the past 5 seasons.

Klopp said Lewa is going to Bayern when his contract runs out. Going to be entertaining watching him play when he has one foot out the door.

they have a better chance of winning the league with Lewa instead of selling him. If they sell him you can hand Bayern the title before the season starts. Could also be a case of Bayern offering a lot less than his value.
Dortmund have some money. they're not a La Liga club

Yeah but they're dumb, they'd lose him for free. Always deal an ending contract for something or try a swap. You can already hand Bayern the title after handing over Gotze to them. Of course Bayern offers less than his real value -EXPIRING.

Well they could have more money if they sold him

I wanted Raul at TFC but hey Forlan is alright too

Mario Gomez to Fiorentina. Fiorentina are a really well run club. They continue to make impressive signings.

Looks like David Villa is heading to Atletico. Hopefully he can be revived there.

I was bored and saw that in the past 10 years these have been the Uefa Cup/Europa League champs:

Spanish Squads - Valencia ('04), Sevilla ('06, '07), Atletico ('10, '12)

Russian Squads - Zenit ('08), CSKA Moscow ('05)

Portugese Squads - Porto ('11)

Ukrainian Squads - Shakhtar Donetsk ('09)

English Squads - Chelsea ('13)

Wow, Atletico is only paying about 4.4 million pounds (5.1 million euros) for Villa this summer. They'll have to fork over a further 2.6 million pounds (3 million euros) if Villa plays for Atletico in 2014/2015 and 2015/2016. If someone pays for a transfer for Villa in the future Barca will get 50% of that transfer fee. Atletico got a bargain.

Um, not really. Atletico were heavily interested in him and Negredo. They weren't willing to pay enough for Negredo that others like City are willing to pay. I think the transfer fee is shocking though. Villa probably prefers staying in Spain cuz Spurs and Arsenal were willing to offer a lot more money.

Diego Fucking Forlan. My mind has been blown.

A few years ago this guy was one of the bestplayers in the world. I don't care if he's on the decline, this will be one hell of an addition if he signs.

Villa was willing to take a paycut so he wouldn't have to play for Tottenham. I would do the same
wanted him to go back to Valencia but I know they have no money.

Gomez to Fiorentina is official. He should have been a target for Spuds. Higuain might stay too.

Dortmund transfers

Atletico offers UCL to him and he stays in Spain. The choice was obvious.

If Soldado left Valencia he would've gone back for sure.

Fiorentina has been really impressive with their transfers since last summer.

I wouldn't mind Higuain staying because then there'll definitely be no Suarez or Ibra

Lol nice.
