Arsenal winning is just odd. I don't hate or love Arsenal I just can't stand Man U and Arsenal winning just game Man U a better chance.

AC Milan gets dominated 3-1 by Palermo LOL

So the Redmen are playing West Ham today.

Torres looks to be out another 3 weeks or so with his re-agrivated hamstring. Time for Keane to fucking step it up. we're going to need him. Relying on Dossena scares me a bit though. Still, LFC is too strong all around to just sit around.

By tommorow morning, i look forward to a nice view from the TOP of the table.

So... first group stage of Champions League comes to an end this week, no? Liverpool is in a pretty good spot and probably won't field the best sqaud against PSV as we've already advanced.

I'm just dreading who we can end up with for the next round. Anyone but Barcelona is what i'm hoping for. I bet we're going to see a lot of the english teams face each other as i gather UEFA doesn't want to see so many english teams advance like in the past. I know the draws are random.... just saying.

To tell the truth, winning the premiership would mean much more to me anyways.

BTW. Toronto FC introduced new strips for next season. I took a look at ACC's Centre Sports yesterday, and i must say they are rather nice. I still prefer the older jerseys, but I'm digging the colar.

If i may say, the shirt looks especially good on Danny D.

The jerseys really aren't any different. It's the same with a collar and a maple leafs superimposed on the jersey. Now, if Danny D can stay healthy....

That's asking a lot of Danny D.

Sign a DP and get a quality defender to guide the back for and then this team looks competitive. Robbo is competent enough of guiding the mid field. Also have Wynne as an attacking mid because he's proved he's capable of putting balls in the back of the net.

ahem. We don't speak badly of the legend 'round these parts.

mind you it was his concussion that kept him out of the lineup for the most part and he seems completely over that. I'm just extatic that he will be here for another year. The man is pretty much my favorite athlete in all sports.

I like your assesment of our team. Looking forward to your posts during the MLS season.

p.s. Hopefully Wynne will stick around - and HELL YES we need a new defender. more than one.

Nah I just think the injuries/age got to him. He's big and has control but I don't think he could do it for 90 anymore, would love to see him off the bench in like the 70th for a spark sort of role.

This year it was more his concussion than anything else. Much like how Sutton was out for a LOOONG time the year before.

I don't disagree with you though. Of course Danny shouldn't be expected to play 90 mins every week. I also like him off the bench or even playing a half and then sitting. That said, he is still one of our smartest offensive players (he and Guevara are tops), has a fantastic knack for getting into the right place, and is easily the best player in the air for us.

The man has good football left in him.

BTW.

The mighty Reds win against PSV.
I didn't watch it - so i can't gauge how good liverpool looked, but the score is pretty convincing.

3-1. Goals from Babel, Riera, N'Gog (who along with El Zahr are allowing me to keep some faith through injuries).

Now to see who we face next....

You find a dead rat and you think it's a treat
In your Liverpool slums

UNITED til I die

HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Oh it's on now.

Frankly i'm shocked - you seemed like a pretty good guy

btw. Here we carry ourselves with a little more class and dignity than what you may be used to from your dodgy, humourless Manc forums.

Of course i'm playing as well - and damn do i HATE your squad.

A little forum-rivalry should be fun. Hoops doesn't take it far enough. He's one of your kind.

Real Madrid played well with its new coach.

Robben is unstoppable, I wish he got injuured every two weeks.

Watch the second and third goals.

TORONTO -- Toronto FC added some home-town flair in Dwayne De Rosario on Friday, acquiring the all-star attacking midfielder from the Houston Dynamo in exchange for defender Julius James and allocation money.

I can't believe TFC got DeRo thats so awesome.

Also he isn't even considered a DP

Smells like MLS orchestrated this deal. I dont' think Mo is bright enough to think of such a deal without help

Our man is coming home!!!

Awesome.

I really wonder what our roster is going to look at come the start of the season. One thing - it looks like we will have an even better midlfield.

I guess that leaves a DP striker on the list.
and clearly some defenders are needed too.

Just as i type the final wistle went in the Liverpool Hull match. balls. 2-2 tie. Mind you, being down two at one point, i'll take the draw.
Let's go West Ham!
