Ecuador lost 1-0 but they're still doing pretty well standings-wise.

Also, Villarreal are returning to La Liga.

Not very nice looking. Also, I'm very saddened by how bad Real Madrid's kit(s) look next year.

united in for fabregas?

if they do I think it locks the title for united to be honest. they've been lacking a deep lying playmaker for years now and fabregas would be bliss for them. imagine..

fabregas------------carrick
valencia---kagawa/rooney---young
------------rooney/RVP----------

god damn that's deadly

Liverpool have practically already signed Iago Aspas for an apparent 7-7.7 million pound transfer fee from Celta de Vigo.

korea beats uzbeckistan 1-0

Iran is beating lebanon 3-0.

if we finish the game 3-0, goal differential wise, even if the uzebecks win their last match, if we tie korea we're second and through

pulling a tie in south korea very difficult though. I expect a 2-0 loss. just gotta hope the uzbecks drop points in their last match agains qatar. lehgooooooooooooo

oh i figured as much, but i thought it was a bit early for actual qualification.

Good luck to Iran. seems like they haven't been there for a while if i go by memory.

thanks. the top 2 of the two asia tables go through to the world cup. right now we are second, with uzbekistan 3rd behind by 2 points and we have a better GD. korea is first, ahead of us by one point with a 7 GD so they are pretty much through.

third place goes and faces a south american team for a spot in the world cup, and first and second go through automatically. I have no hope of beating either urugay or columbia. nor am I confident if we had to face peru or venezuela. so i'm hoping to god we get second

as well, we didn't make the 2010 world cup (bad year for us, coaching staff dropped the ball) but we did make the 2006 world cup. didn't make 2002 world cup but made 1998 world cup. that was our best year, where we beat the states, and ended up with 4 (not sure if it was 3) points in the group, and just missed making it to the knockout stages.

Iran has never been to the knockout stages

I really like the transfers Fiorentina do - very impressive. They just got Joaquin from Malaga.

southhampton have signed lovren from lyon for 8.5 million.

why the fuck would lyon sell him, and only for 8.5 million?

and why the fuck would lovren say yes to southhampton? one more season and he could very well have been sought after by barcelona. man that club is a mess

they signed Gastón Ramírez last year. not the first time they've signed a quality young player.
never heard about Barcelona having any interest in him. he's not even a top 5 CB in Europe.

with my long curly hair, one or more member(s) of 6 different teams (including my own) have called my fellaini.

that's all fine and all, and he's an awesome footballer, but I don't have an actual afro. My hair is more latino in it's tightly wound curls. so it sorta gets on my nerves

doesn't matter though. I scored today in my more competitive mens league (however it was called offside, incorrectly I might add, but it didn't count regardless). so to date, I have a goal in the more competitive league, and 2 goals 2 assists in the league with 17-19 year olds. I'm having a decent season i'd say
