Banega is a toss up. I think he'll work out in either situation.
bale doesnt go, and if he does, its for no less than 60 million pounds.

rakitic is good, but too raw. a good prospect, but we need a senior striker to accompany him.

or am I thniking of the wrong croatian?

Interesting rumors that Dortmund might be nabbing Christian Eriksen. Not as good as Goetze but there seems to be a vigor to reinvest that money and not simply allow it to go to waste.

I had to laugh hard at the rumor today that Arsenal will "swoop-in" to sign Rooney. When the Board decides to spend that alone should make news. Anyways, if I was looking to "raid" La Liga I'd like Camacho personally as he'd shore up the midfield and replace the elderly Arteta and Carlos Bacca as a relatively cheap option as a number 9. Would they win us the league? Ha, no. I've given up on that dream.

As for Rakitic, I'm not a fan of him as he's always seemed lazy to me. He's got a ton of potential but that time is running out (at least for me). His game though is more suited to play in the fluid style you see in La Liga rather than the physical BPL. That's just me and plus Spurs had a better version of Rakitic in Krancjar and they pissed him away.

Um, are u ok? Rakitic is too raw? a senior striker 2 accompany him? Rakitic is a CAM/CM. He's a playmaker and one of Sevilla's best players along with Negredo (who is the 5th best scorer in the league bhind the 3 beasts-Messi,CR7,Falcao and 1 behind Soldado) + Jesus Navas (arguably the best if not top 2-4 best last old-school winger in Europe).

It'd b interesting 2 see CE in a better league. I was thinking as soon as Gotze's deal happened that CE would be a nice addition.

I don't know what's more ludacris-Rooney to Arsenal or Arsenal were inquiring about Casillas

Good call. Glad to see Camacho getting minutes + playing quite well for Malaga after it didn't work out @ Atletico. Malaga too might lose a lot of players but the only player they'll definitely sell is Isco.

Isco is gone. The thing about La Liga, beyond say the top 2 is money speaks. If you're willing to give it up almost any player is available (the same can be said for Arsenal )

Bernard and Kevin De Bruyne on Dortmund's radar as well. Probably going to get at least 1 of the 3 names.

Different issues entirely. Arsenal actually has money and unlike Valencia (who are like 400 million euros in debt all because a previous President tried to build a stadium without actual funds) who are in serious trouble. Sevilla last summer decided to cut all operating costs by 30% I believe. Malaga have benefitted and then been screwed over by that owner. Atletico has issues but not as public as the other 3.

Also, some foreign teams can play their players a lot better.

Just saw that Navas is excited about City's interest in him. It'd b funny if he was sold and then came back for a smaller fee in the winter cuz he was homesick.

Are you thinking of Kovacic in Italy or Halilovic?

Rebic is good, but in terms of the next generation of Croatian footballers, I'd put him in the middle of the pack.

Kovacic has a game similar to Boban (if you don't know who he is, just google him. Part of our golden generation when we had a terrific midfield).

Halilovic is a goal scoring, play-maker who's only 16 (I think 17 now) who in the eyes of many is the next big thing coming out of the Balkans. I saw him when he 13/14 at a training ground and even then he was better than anyone I knew. He was playing against 17/18 y.o. and was just dominant at a young age. Anyways, teams have been circling him (Real, Man U, Bayern etc.) but Mamic wants everyone's first born (He's an asshole imo). Short story, best kid out of the mix, real question as to who he'll play with @ the international level, either Croatia or Bosnia (a very, very real fight).

I think Mou purposely trolled the team. Albiol over Pepe? Essien over Arbeloa? Luka over Angel? His pride gets in the way of logic and objectivity.

This year it got way out of hand. The best thing he brought though was that Real is actually present in Europe again as opposed to 6 years straight without a UCL SF appearance. I hope DiMaria doesn't leave.
