I love DERO as well. He and Deguzman showed great chemistry on the pitch. As for First generation Canadians cheering for their background I don't like it either. However; at the same time it doesn't bother me as much anymore. I'm a first generation canadian myself and its always Canada first for me. Their is a reason my parents left their home country to come here and in alot of ways I'm thankful for that.

I dunno if you heard it in your section but some hard cores were yelling out "Where's your Passport" to all the younger Jamaican fans. A little cruel but funny as hell

Its funny to hear you tired of not enough soccer support. Here is the exact contrary. If Calderon scored 50 points in a quarter it would still be behind in the news of something like "Real Madrid coach has said some stupid crap". Pretty annoying.

For sure. If Bosh had a triple double in a Raptors thrilling triple OT win, and Ron Wilson took a shit, the front page would probably show Wilson on the can and there would be 3 columinsts analyzing it.

Ok screw the media I'm going to change the subject and talk about something I wanna talk about.

This Saturday Inter vs. Juve. One of the oldest footy rivalries comes back to life. A Juve win will put them tied with thier Milan foes on top of the table.

Big Big game.

I'm a Manchester United fan, but I have a lot of mates who are Juve supporters. I appreciate good football, no matter who's playing.

Juve has been looking better lately. THey might have a chance. Del Piero is on fire.

This should be a rebuilding year for Juve. However guys like Del Piero, Nedved and Camoranesi aren't giving up. Their is young talent on the pipeline as well.

As for the EPL I don't think Man U is going to do it this year. You just can't get another amazing season out of Renaldo again IMHO.

We see though. I'm a Juve fan but must admit EPL is more fan friendly

i quite hate italian soccer. However, as far as serie A goes, i admit i like Juventus the most. Thanks to players like Nedved, Trezeguet, and Buffon, and to a lesser extent being Zidane's old squad. they are my italian team of choice. I even own a Juve jersey i picked up off the Winner's clearance isle for $29.

Go Juventus!

I like it. Plenty of Juventinos in the crowd. If you have time you should watch the game this Saturday vs. INter. I know its on regular fox sports world (not canada's version) so enjoy.

You never say never in the EPL. United started off slow last year - one of the slowest starts in franchise history and then turned it on. However, both Chelsea and the 'Pool look quite strong this year.

And then you never know what happens come January (transfer window)

Ya you could be right. This year I hope Juve retains their Champions LEague spot and a good showing in the CL would be awesome.

Thats basically my opinion. Hate Italian soccer, but always liked Nedved and Del Piero. I dont even had bad feelings after they beat Real Madrid. Del Piero was just awesome. I supose the reason is Real completely sucks right now.

And IMHO no team has a chance against barcelona right now. Champions league its pretty crazy though, so its true any team can win.

Well a bad week for the Bianconeri. Losing to Inter in the fashion they did was rough. Face it like the Raptors Juve doesn't have too much dept and miss their injured players. How did that goal go in anyways? Dammit Buffon would never let a goal go in that easily.

With Tiago being injured early and Camoranesi still not full strenght and to top it off Iaquinta not being full strength its tough to beat a team like Inter.

As always inter managed to make the game be a boring as ever however a well deserved win. Hopefully Juve gets healthy fast. too bad Buffon won't be ready until January

As for EPL, i was rather dissapointed with the Liverpool Fulham game. Steve Gerrard's absence was clearly noticable with the lack of good through balls and midfield play.

Clearly i was getting a little worried that Chelsea was going to trounce Newcastle.... but much to my surprise they didn't. Way to go Magpies!

Liverpool and Chelsea still tied for points.

I found it funny watching Arsenal Flounder yet again. 3 nil loss to Man City?? Gunners kiss your Premiership hopes goodbye and hope you keep that CL spot.

Also, way to go Man U a perfect opportunity to close the gap between Chelsea and Liverpool but they tie Aston Villa. Who are a pretty decent mid table club though.
