Why are you so happy about Dortmund? Are you now a Dortmund fan through and through or is Dortmund your Bundesliga team?
my Bundesliga team from 4 years ago.
I ended up liking the league because there was more parody, attack oriented and most importantly FREE to watch in HD in Europe and the middle east while the EPL was restricted to pay channels that I didn't have.
Still watch more bundesliga to this day but Chelsea > any club
KTBFFH!

Only seen a couple of La Liga (Classico) and Serie A (Juve) games in the past couple years.

So then are you bundesliga team (kinda?). Ok. Meh, I still think it's the United and insert highest spender (Chelsea, now we move to an era of City) league. Real/Barca league. Juventus (Milan? I doubt Napoli can sustain their level of play) League and Bayern Munchen (Dortmund has entered the fray though) League. All the big guns still at the top unless heavy investment comes in. Pretty sad. I miss the days of Valencia, Deportivo, Stuttgart, Arsenal, Roma, etc where they could actually win titles. The big teams keep getting better. However yes, the Bundesliga is pretty good. It's not a money league with insane amounts of spending from plenty of clubs like in BPL. It has the youth success and development of La Liga teams without the structural +/or economic issues (more a broader problem in Espana obviously). Not as tactical as Serie A but pretty good. Has a bit of everything.

Arsenal would work well in the Bundesliga. mostly young players and restrictions on spending.
I think Roma can still be a top club and they will have a new stadium in a couple years. could improve the club like it did for Juve.

Arsenal possibly but it'd be nice if English teams actually invested in English players. That's good. It might help Roma but then again it might not. I still think it'll be a while before we see a surprise big league won by an unexpected team.

roma has some incredible young attacking/midfield. if they solidify their defence they'll push juve for the title. sorry DVS but it's true, and if I had to pick a team other than spurs to support it'd be roma or dortmund

the EPL does invest in young players. they just end up on loan for 5 years in the second division. Chelsea just won the final of the U19 NextGen Cup beating Juve, Barca and Arsenal.
what would qualify as a surprise? a team like Arsenal winning?
I think Serie A has 5-6 teams that could possibly win.

Notice how I said English players. Last I checked teams usually just scalp a young player from another country - Arsenal does that quite well and develops them very well usually. Serie A has 5-6 teams that could possibly win? the nextgen cup? or Serie A. Cuz we can all say x teams can win but they don't actually win do they (I'm talking about leagues not youth cups).

Roma will lose a lot if they sell their coveted CB Marquinhos.

Chelsea has 17 players from UK on their U19 team and 6 internationals while 50% of Arsenal's U19 team is international. So I think Chelsea will do a better job at developing english players.

U19? That's great and all I hope they do well. However I hope they actually stay on the squad (ie. first team). That's not surprising actually. On another note I think other leagues need to have the reserve sides or b sides as actual teams as opposed to in reserve leagues or whatever.

Damn, bragging rights in London is crazy.

Also - will Lukaku be back next season? What is the future of De Bruyne?

I hope Lukaku comes back. a Ba - Lukaku pairing would be great.
De Bruyne is supposed to come back and replace Lampard in the future. there are some rumours that Chelsea want to swap him for Schurrle. hope that doesn't happen

I too am tired of Barca and Real although it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world for Real if that's who they meet in the semis. Barca will have a tough task. Messi might not play at all. Mascherano and Puyol are both out. As is Adriano I believe. Alba might still be out as well. So, Bartra, Busquets or Song might be playing CB.

Xavi was amazing yesterday. Yes, I know he made 92 perfect passes, but it was the quality of the passes as well. I know much is made of Messi (obviously) but it's Xavi and Iniesta that make Barcelona.
