Something I wouldn't mind - player swap of Benz for Kun.
that'd be dumb for you guys. benzema has been playing consistently well since you got him, and yet gets so much shtick for it. your problems lie elsewhere.

bale would play a free role, interchanging with ronaldo. those two playing together, if they develop a good chemistry, could be the greatest offensive duo in the midfield seen for quite some time.

Benz as great as he is, just hasn't been the same guy this year. Last year he was a monster though. Gonzalo also receives the same "shtick". Fun fact - Gonzalo regularly has better goals/minute ratio than Messi or CR7.

Bale and CR7 - ok that's great and all but who do you take out - no way in hell do you not start Ozil and DiMaria. So, if Bale and CR7 are starting than you have no true 9. Or, Benz, Higuain or whomever starts and Bale or another person is unjustly on the bench. idk if a highprofile signing were to be made the greatest offensive machine could be created in Falcao and CR7.

Call me crazy but I think that Bale could potentially fit very well on Barca. Would have to play as LF/LW though.

bale has a different game than barsa. madrid is more of an athletically focused teams where speed, power, and etc on the front line dominates fueled by passing genious from xabi, modric, etc. barca is much more precise, short distance passing, ala spain more so. maybe at lb, but he's definitely no lb anymore. it'd be a waste of his talents.

i'd say u take di maria off.

ronaldo--ozil--bale

that's a foooking machine

While that may be so regarding Barca-they need a LW/LF who can bring pace, physicality, and can head the ball. Why? Cuz they have no traditional 9 + when false 9 doesn't work they need something different. Hell even when Espana plays Navas and there is no 9 he opens up so much space for the other guys to work their magic.

The chemistry between Ozil, Angel and CR7 is already off the charts. Not to mention, Angel is a f**king workhorse. That guy always gives in a great defensive effort. Also-his goal against Valdes in the first leg of the supercopa was all due to him giving barca a lot of pressure. There's also a reason he's a starter for Argentina. This isn't even mentioning his offensive talents. Has Bale ever even played on the right? Just see no reason to mess up a good thing.

+ a CR7/Ozil/DiMaria + the best pure 9 in the world in Falcao- would be too good.

I definitely think Juventus can pull it off. Juventus' d is probably the best in Europe imo. Also - Bayern's latest game against Arsenal was telling. Either way it's going to be very very close.

Spain's team for the Finland and France games:

V Valdes (Barcelona), J Reina (Liverpool), D de Gea (Man Utd), A Arbeloa (Real Madrid), R Albiol (Real Madrid), S Ramos (Real Madrid), C Azpilicueta (Chelsea), G Pique (Barcelona), I Monreal (Arsenal), J Alba (Barcelona), Xabi Alonso (Real Madrid), Xavi (Barcelona), A Iniesta (Barcelona), C Fabregas (Barcelona), S Busquets (Barcelona),S Cazorla (Arsenal), J Garcia (Man City), Isco (Malaga), D Villa,(Barcelona), D Silva (Man City), Pedro (Barcelona), J Mata (Chelsea), A Negredo (Sevilla), J Navas (Sevilla).

Juve's midfield can stand up with anyones . Its just Bayern is very battle tested and the obvious favourites. I'm looking forward to it. It'll be a very tactically driven battle. Really looking forward to it.

Well, I'm happy that Croatia won

Personally, I think Mata needs to be in the Starting 11 for Spain. They look far more dangerous when he's in there. Tough draw.

He hasn't proven s**t all with Spain yet.

Del Bosque appeased fans aka Asturias. He didn't start nor play Alonso which was downright idiotic. Santi shouldn't have started. Villa should've/shouldn't have started. Xavi being out hurt as well. Pedro maybe should've given the start as he's been really hot lately with La Roja. Silva didn't look that great out there but he's earned his place (+ did deliver the corner to Ramos).

I haven't watched enough Spain games. I'm just calling it as I see it. I just think Mata adds something out there. I'm not sure why Alonso never came in.

Fair enough but you have to remember how deep that midfield is. Del Bosque instead of playing his usual pairing in the middle decided to be adventurous - idiotic choice. If he does what he did yesterday against France (ie. no Xabi) this squad will get destroyed. Many people out there say that Xabi shouldn't start for Spain, etc. - they're idiotic. It adds another top deep-lying playmaker and it aids the defensive integrity of the lineup.

USA/Costa Rica played soccer last night, well if you call this soccer. They played in a blizzard basically. haha

Whoever schedule that game in Colorado, in March, was not the smartest person in the room.

i saw the highlites this morning of that rapsbuckeye. Looked insane... but can you imagine what the costa rican players were thinking? Talk about a home field advantage for the americans.

I don't know about you guys in columbus, but it sure seems like it snowed a ton here this winter.

Very good point. Read this morning that Costa Rica is protesting the game to FIFA and that the Costa Rica coach asked the Ref to stop the game but he didn't.

We didn't not get too much snowed in Columbus this winter. We had one solid snow storm but that was it. Was expecting more. Now, the weather still sucks. The warm weather hasn't found its way here yet.
