Man U are defending quite well. Most impressive part of this game.

I'm still in shock. : |

How do you give a red card for that????? HOW??? A yellow for dangerous play would have been fine but the game was clean up to that point. WHY???

And then the no call for the penalty near the end.... ugh.

A real shame because that's one of the better games that I've seen United play against top competition. Even with 10 men they still brought it.

Credit to Mourinho and Ronaldo for showing class in the win.

There goes the shot at the treble.

Crazy 2nd half. Everybody was in shock. You never know what can happen though when a player shows his studs. Mou said the best team lost today which may be true. A thing which shocked me though other than the red - no Rooney starting???

nice game by Dortmund. was worried about the outcome of the game since the past 2-3 weeks have been inconsistent.

looks like ManU's luck finally ran out. They aren't as good as their record indicates. now they now how Chelsea feels every champs league with dumb calls by refs.

No English teams in the last 8

There are certainly times when I would have agreed with you.... but this isn't one of those times.

United played great today.

Mad props to Chelsea last season especially the 2nd half of the game against Barca in Barcelona. Also, has any team had harder weeks than Real - last season's Bayern/Barca/Bayern in 7 days or this season - Barca/Barca/ManU in 7 days?

Last year's edition of 1-week madness - no. This year's - yes. But I ask again - can anyone think of a tougher week a team had or even comparable?

Also - I'm guessing you're pumped for Spurs vs Inter.

yes indeed sir hahaha. two things though. bale is a different player than when we played them in champs league as he sticks to the left less and less so it'd be a different kind of domination.

that and maicon isn't with inter anymore.... hahaha

I probably can't watch the game though... too much work

Honestly the QFs this year are going to be really tough. So far: Real Madrid, Juventus, Dortmund, PSG. Bayern Munchen are going to make it for sure. Then there's Barca or Milan. Gala has 2 monster strikers in Drogba and Yilmaz. Schalke is tough. Will be interesting to see who makes it out of those 2. Porto are no pushovers and Malaga have arguably the best player born in the 1990s in Isco - (another interesting tie).

Maicon lol.

It'll be an interesting match to say the least.

Do small updates then.

For Juve I'd take Schalke, Porto, Malaga or potentially Milan next round. All decent sides but personally think the chance is better.

Just for nostalgia reasons I'd like to see Real/Juve.

One decent pattern is this ..

1973 final Ajax-Juventus
1983 final Hamburger SV - Juventus
1993 final Borussia Dortmund - Juventus (UEFA Cup)
2003 final Milan - Juventus

2013....

good post but isco is not the best player born in the 1990's. he hasn't exploded that much yet

That's why I said arguably. Also, name a better player born in the 1990s. Malaga could've fallen to shambles with the sale of Santi Cazorla yet Isco has stepped up a lot in his absence.

oh for sure, he's extremely talented. I wish spurs had gotten him in the summer and paid the extra 4 million.

well for one, neymar.... although it's arguable he's less proven but still, the kid is a wonder so far.

I think if oscar had come to spurs and not been buried on the bench at chelsea could show he's better right now, but well, he has splinters in his arse cause of chelsea.

but you're right, not many come to mind. muniain is also arguable
