It ain't since there are bunch of overpaid players around. I love him as a striker, but beyond that, I think it's a wonderful move: if he's healthy, the Viola has one of the best italian striker. If not, they can sell him getting some cash back.

Unless we're considering getting Rossi worse than getting Rocchi on loan for 750k/6mths

QPR defender Ryan Nelsen is to take up a post as head coach with Toronto FC and replace Paul Mariner.

Toronto will make the announcement on Tuesday with former Arsenal and Ipswich striker Mariner, who doubled as director of soccer operations, likely to return to England.

toronto FC starting over again. ha.
Let's hope they get it right (well at least more right) this time. Although seeing as Ryan Nelson has zero coaching experience makes this a very risky move.

Sahin should go somewhere where he will play regularily. His stay in england has been disapointing for me. I was hoping he would have more of an impact than he did. He was not an improvement over the likes of Allen, Henderson, Shelvey, etc.

TFC great job to have. Finish out of the playoffs every year and get promoted

Nelson is under contract with QPR until June and the MLS season starts in March. how great is that?

ya that's the big talking point amongst tfc fans right now and most are mad. I'll just say it's a very strange position to be found in. By all accounts team have found their guy, but he can't actually be the coach until part way through the season. Has something like this ever happened before? I guess this team just can't go about things the easy way.

Sneijder, the man who should've won the ballon d'or for the year 2010 may very well go to Galatasaray. Apparently Inter's accepted a 10 million euro bid for him. Gala are willing to pay him 6 million euros/season. His wife likes Istanbul.

indeed - raffaella (his ex) is hot. however, he just got dumped by his gf - tabby brown who's now dating trey songz.

in transfer news. Sevilla wants to pay off some debt. So, apparently Sevilla President Jose Maria del Nido has flown to London with a view to sell Alvaro Negredo. Chelsea already got Ba. However another team in London will only have 1 striker for a bit because one of their strikers is going to be playing for their country in the African Cup of Nations.

Also, apparently Ivan Rakitic is going to be sold to Lokomotiv Moscow for 10 million euros tomorrow. That guy needs to go to a better team than Lokomotiv Moscow
