Expect Dortmund, much like Real Madrid to care only about something that matters more than a domestic title: the UCL.

still have to finish top 4, unless they are going to win the CL. Chelsea basically gave up on the domestic campaign when they were in the semi finals.
Still need another point to make it to the next round. Hope they continue their good run in the CL.

bet you were happy that Celtic beat Barsa yesterday

good win by the lads today, but what a blunder by lloris. big mistake by naughton, he's still inexperienced. regardless, good result. Amazing game by bale, huddlestone, and one of our prospects carrol. Really liking what i'm seeing from him right now

Dortmund will be fine domestically.

I was more shocked than happy.

Also, Higuain is out for a month. Benz might miss this weekend's clash against Levante. Another Morata appearance is in the works

Javier Hernandez is rapidly becoming one of my favourites to watch... reminds me so much of Klose. You leave him alone for a second and it's in the back of the net.

Crazy comeback (again!) by United today. A shame for Villa.

This Rooney/Hernandez/V. Persie trio is pretty darn good!

Chicharito reminds me more of Tevez than he does Klose. Klose was big, strong and just a great finisher but kept his head on a swivel. After watching Jelavic play and score today for Everton that's guy who reminds me of Klose.

Rooney is playing in the right role for him right now, but I'm still not impressed with Man Us back and well, Midfield. They may win the EPL but I just don't see them winning any major competitions, which is fine by me.

Nice to see Arsenal forgot how to defend.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. You can get away with stuff like that in league play but it's much different in competitions like the UCL.

Yep. Actually, watching the CL this year I've noticed that the English teams for the most part are just poor compared to alot of the competition. They're formation, in-game adjustments etc. it's all just a step behind.

I don't want to be offensive or anything but it seems that most/many players in the BPL are lacking skill-wise, or aren't that great technically.

Playing style absolutely.... I was just referring to the result (clutch goals) more than anything else.

No arguments there. United's D definitely makes me cringe at times and they certainly can't expect to pull the old "Oh we'll just spot the other team a goal or two before we really start playing" crap against top-notch Int'l squads.

It's just nice that Rooney doesn't have to carry the load by himself up front anymore.

Still liking Cleverly a lot too. I really hope that he can inject some life into England in the next major competition.
