the game wasn't shitty per se. you're right: it had it's moments. I guess i'm just unhappy with the score - and how bad LFC were in the second half.

As for my Diego jab, yeah - i'm sure dude is good. I haven't really seen him play, but for all the hype he didn't seem very dynamic yesterday. and the pass to Simao... pft. i could have done that.

Man, I fuckin hate Forlan. He didn't do shit when he was with us (Manchester United)

Forget you, ascot boi!

When we sell off Cristiano Ronaldo, we'll have enough money to buy Torres and Stevie G

I thought Gillett and Hicks were selling off the team... They might as well lower the price since no one wants to pay $900 million for the 'pool.

hold on... hold on what are you guys going on about?

First off Gerrard, in my honset opinion, would never play for another club. He is and will forever be a red. Like Kenny Dalgleish. Gerrard is a liverpool lifer.

Torres has shown in every way that he loves the team and everything about the organization. He's just getting started establishing his "legendary status" with the club. He's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Sorry fellas, but Liverpool FC is more than just a place for players to earn their paycheques. It's so much more. Torres and Gerrard know this.

We may not have the deep pockets of Chelsea, Arsenal, ManU.... but don't fool yourselves. There's something special - you can't really describe it - about Liverpool FC that makes it the BEST football club in the world. With Riera and Keane on board now, we're only going to get better.

you'll never walk alone.

the ownership issue is weird. I'm not too on top of it myself, but general concensus is that Gillette and Hicks don't have the funds themselves to do things like build a new stadium or what have you... The story is one minute they're selling, and the next minute they're not. It's the same carousel over and over again. Recently i heard that some MP's may be getting involved in the situation (there's Bank loan inssues). Anyways, i expect at some point in the near future we're going to owned by a rich arab and things willprobably work out better than with Hicks and GIllette.

Liverpool win. Chelsea's unbeaten run ends. 4 years and eight months, 86 games. Ended by Liverpool who win 1-0 to go top of the league.

When you walk through a storm
hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky

And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.

Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart

And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never, ever walk alone.

just got back from scally's. Awesome game. WOuld have been nicer had Xabi's free kick went in. Chelsea were just doing themselves in with all their sloppy fouling towards the end of the match - and only mustering shots from such a long distance that they wouldn't have beaten Reina even even if they were on target.

BTW. Fuck was Carragher ever good today. WE ALL DREAM OF A TEAM OF CARRAGHERS!

Bel, I absolutely hate, Real Madrid. They used to be a team that developed many of their players, and since say 1996 (?) all they've ever done was go out and spend to their hearts desire.

They're a very good team, but give me Vallencia over Madrid

I actually understand all of the hate. Real Madrid was the team that started the "forget young players" just spend millions buying stars with names. It worked for a while, in those 3 champion leagues in 6 years. Figo, Zidane, Ronaldo, ect...but it all imploted with Beckham (Im still a big fan of him though, he worked his ass off) and Ronaldo and the crisis Real had. They absolutely sucked from there.

I miss Zidane so much.

I absolutely hate Valencia, never liked their style or players. I love Villa and Silva though.
Villa>Torres the sissy.

Everyone should be afraid of Barça. The have the best talent in the world by far, great young players and its starting to work again like 3 years ago. They have won their last 9 games (6 liga, 3 champions) and have scored 17 goals in the last three games. Their average this season if of more than 3 goals each games.
They also have a great coach in Guardiola.
