Rough start by Real. Both them and PSG will bounce back. Milan lost to Sampdoria

To be fair Sampdoria should win that game. They are the better team
Still hearing about Juve getting a striker. I think if they were going to get one they would have done it already... Only 4 days left in the transfer window. arsenal need a striker as well.
Sahin to Liverpool. Afellay to Arsenal possibly???

Horrible start to the season so far. At least one of the toughest fixtures was played already (Valencia in Madrid). The Getafe loss was bad but they did beat Barca last season 1 - 0.

Also, we all know why Valdes is 3rd choice GK for Espana

I don't mind not being perfect in La Liga. When Real Madrid won the UCL in 98,00, and 02, they came in 4th, 5th and 3rd in La Liga. Chelsea last year didn't do too well in the BPL but they won the UCL.

Now, Modric is coming for 42 million euros? (according to goal.com). A site yesterday night said it was 34 million euros. Finally it's happening. I'm pissed, not because Modric is a bad player, but because this team just loves to throw money around and forgets that they have players in the team who aren't actually that bad.

Sahin to Liverpool wasn't necessary. He could've relieved Alonso and cover for him in Copa games. Kaka, although we all recognize isn't a starter, does really well against the ok/poorer teams in La Liga. I understand Kaka makes 9-10 million euros and they want to get his salary off the books, but he's almost unsellable. Dani Carvajal to Leverkusen was very stupid. He could've been Arbeloa's understudy.

I've heard Real Madrid want Maicon now

Now, for some great news. Real Madrid Castilla beat Barca B 3 - 2
This is without 3 of their best players from last season: Carvajal, Joselu (sold to Hoffenheim) and Morata (promoted to 1st team). Hopefully with the departure of Nuri (and the probable departures of Carvalho and Kaka) 1 or 2 of Alex, Jese, Nacho or Juanfran are called up.

Lastly, Varane needs to be given a shot in the next game if Pepe is still out. However I think it would be intimidating for him if that next game were against Barca. Albiol still makes poor mistakes and Lass truly is a destroyer (which can be a bad thing at times unfortunately). Gonzalo has been solid with 2 goals in 2 league matches and I think he'll be the La Liga starter.

I think he is still good but hasn't shown good form past couple years. Inter really wan to gut their team

Well Ciro Ferrara (former Juve CB) coaches Samp so you may be right . Juve rumours of getting a striker are all Newspaper related I think. Dzeko and Llorente are the names be floated around but really I don't see anything happening

Just wish that wasn't the MO

I'm not saying Maicon is done, just he isn't needed at Real. Yeah, what is going on at/with Inter?

they basically let everyone go but Sneijder. Got rid of all their old players and just made a bunch of smart buys

Rooney JUST back on the pitch.... and then gets a freak injury that puts him out for another few weeks. FAWK!

Nice to see RVP get his first for the Red Devils.

Torres looks to be back in form now. I was a bit surprised that Spain didn't use him more TBH with how well he played.... but I guess when you have an embarassment of riches that can happen.

Well, Cesc is a better player than Torres so Del Bosque went with him.

One article I read early in the morning said 34 million euros. The official deal is for 42 million euros (they could've had 40 million pounds last year from Chelsea). So, is Llorente to Juventus going to be official soon?
